In the month of July 2026, officers and members of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI), led by President Gerald Uy Chan, participated in Lannang Creatorfest 2026, a conference co-organized by Lannang Studios and CHiNOY TV. The event, which was sponsored by CFBCI, served as a platform for aspiring and established content creators, entrepreneurs, and digital professionals to exchange ideas and gain insights from some of the country’s leading personalities in the creator economy.
Held over two Saturdays, July 18 and 25, 2026, at Palm Grove, Rockwell Club, the conference featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and specialized sessions on storytelling, branding, niche development, audience growth, content monetization, and the integration of artificial intelligence into content creation. Participants were equipped with practical tools and strategies to strengthen their digital presence while adapting to the rapidly evolving online landscape.
The event showcased a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Thunderson Tan, Hans “King Panda” Tan, Freal Studios, Jan Sy, Ansis Sy, Carlo Ople, Yvan Limson of CapCut Philippines, Kring Kim, Manfred Salandanan, Happee Sy-Go, Alvin Kingson Tan, and Jessie Zou. Drawing from their professional experiences, they shared practical advice on building authentic brands, cultivating engaged online communities, securing meaningful partnerships, and creating content that delivers lasting value.
Among the highlights of the conference were the keynote messages of Carlo Ople, Founder of Unbox, and Manfred Salandanan, Faculty and Deputy Program Head of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P). Ople underscored the importance of using digital platforms with purpose, encouraging creators to speak responsibly on social issues and reminding participants that authenticity allows audiences to see “that you’re human and that you care.”
Meanwhile, Salandanan emphasized that sustainable success goes beyond chasing viral content, urging creators to focus instead on consistently delivering value by entertaining, informing, or offering audiences a meaningful point of view.
Through these engaging discussions, CFBCI delegates gained valuable knowledge on leveraging social media as a platform for innovation, entrepreneurship, and positive social impact. The conference reinforced the importance of creativity, consistency, authenticity, and responsible digital storytelling while fostering collaboration among creators and professionals committed to shaping a more dynamic and purpose-driven Philippine digital content ecosystem.
Our organization extends special thanks to Justin Chua, co-founder of Lannang Studios and a member of CFBCI, and Alvin Kingson Tan, President of CHiNOY TV for spearheading this event and collaborating with CFBCI.
