On 18 April 2026, the Young Entrepreneurs’ Committee (YEC) of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI), under the guidance of Vice President William Rogando and chaired by Director Stella Lim, convened its first coordination meeting at the SKYLaw Offices Head Office in Pasig City.

A thoughtfully designed team-building activity opened the session, enabling members to establish rapport through meaningful interaction. Afterwards, CFBCI President Gerald Uy Chan delivered his welcome address, expressing confidence in the YEC and affirming his full support for mentorship of the younger generation. This was followed by Vice President Rogando’s message which urged young entrepreneurs to embrace innovation, actively participate in social welfare initiatives, and embody a strong sense of responsibility in both business and community life.

Central to the meeting was the articulation of the CFBCI YEC’s mission and vision. In summary, the organization aims to promote Chinese-Filipino community integration into mainstream Philippine society, nurturing Filipino citizens grounded in Chinese culture and values, and promoting youth engagement in social welfare projects. It seeks to establish a high-caliber platform that advances innovative leadership and sustainable growth, ultimately fostering a new generation of business leaders distinguished by creativity, persistence, and global mindset.

To operationalize this vision, the YEC introduced five core action pillars: Connect, Cultivate, Core, Convey, and Contribute — which will guide its programs and activities. Their planned initiatives include monthly roundtable discussions with seasoned industry leaders, business summits, and AI-focused digital training to support entrepreneurial transformation. Other efforts will include international study tours, sports networking events, and university-industry collaborations, as well as job fairs and social welfare projects that aim to enhance the YEC’s broader societal impact.

The event concluded on a celebratory note under the gracious hosting of External Committee Vice Chairman Atty. Kesterson T. Kua, who provided both venue and dinner to the YEC members. At sunset, the YEC members gathered at the office’s rooftop, offering a symbolic moment of unity, followed by a lively dinner marked by multilingual exchanges in English, Tagalog, Mandarin, and Hokkien — reflecting both cultural pride and professional diversity.

To seal off the gathering, Vice President Rogando facilitated a fun activity where members introduced themselves with the fluent use of the Chinese language. Overall, the session was highly interactive, providing members with an opportunity to bond while advancing the committee’s agenda of developing mentorship initiatives aimed at empowering fellow young entrepreneurs and strengthening networking opportunities among emerging business leaders.

菲華工商總會訊：本會青年企業委員會（Young Entrepreneurs’ Committee，簡稱YEC）於二零二六年四月十八日（星期六）下午，假巴石市天行律師事務所（S.K.Y. Law Offices）圓滿舉行本屆首次啟動會議。此次會議在理事長曾國強、副理事長兼YEC督導杜祖蔭的親自指導下展開，現場氣氛熱烈，展現了菲華新生代企業家的活力與朝氣。

會議由YEC副主任黃愛儀主持。為迅速拉近成員距離，特別安排了別開生面的團建遊戲，透過互動迅速提升團隊默契。隨後，理事長曾國強致歡迎詞，對YEC的正式運作寄予厚望，並承諾將全力支持青年一代的成長。副理事長杜祖蔭致詞中勉勵青年企業家應具備創新思維，在開拓事業的同時積極投身社會公益，展現商界的責任與擔當。

本次會議的核心聚焦於 YEC 的使命與願景。委員會確立了以「鼓勵菲華族裔融入菲律濱主流社會，培養具中華文化底蘊的菲公民，促進青年投身社會活動」為核心使命，打造一個推動創新領導力與永續成長的優質平台，為菲華社會培育具備國際視野、誠信價值與文化自信的新一代企業領袖。

為落實使命，青年企業委員會於會中正式確立五大核心發展支柱：連結（Connect）、培育（Cultivate）、核心（Core）、傳承（Convey）及貢獻（Contribute），為未來各項計劃的行動綱領，旨在全方位提升成員的商業素養與社會影響力。

在具體規劃上，YEC 將透過每月圓桌晚宴邀請資深領導傳承經營智慧，並舉辦商業高峰會與 AI 數位培訓賦能青年轉型。此外，將推動國際參訪、體育聯誼及校企合作，佈局人才鏈接。同時，委員會將致力於打造品牌形象、主辦就業博覽會並深耕社會公益，全方位擴大菲華青商的社會影響力。

傍晚時分，常務理事柯偉順律師熱情邀請與會同仁登上頂樓天台，在落日餘暉的壯麗美景中合影留念，定格下 YEC 成員團結向上的精彩瞬間。隨後的晚宴時分，氣氛在美食中更顯熱絡。與會成員展現了卓越的語言能力，不僅以英文與菲語溝通無礙，更積極響應「培養中華文化氣質」的使命，紛紛以國語及閩南語親切交談，逐一分享各自的行業經驗與專業背景。

為鼓勵青年一代勇敢開口、傳承華語文化，副理事長杜祖蔭更特別捐出彩頭現金作為獎勵。在歡聲笑語與豐厚驚喜中，不僅打破了語言的隔閡，更在真誠分享間展現了菲華新生代多元且深厚的專業實力，大幅強化了團隊的向心力。

本次會議承蒙常務理事柯偉順律師慷慨提供場地並設豐盛晚宴款待，其對青年企業發展的鼎力支持令與會者深受鼓舞。未來，青年企業委員會將持續凝聚青年力量，搭建跨界交流與成長的優質平台，為菲華商界注入源源不絕的創新動能。
