Since the induction of its 15th Board of Directors and Officers, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) has maintained strong operational momentum. Various committees have recently conducted a series of coordination meetings, with President Gerald Uy Chan personally attending to provide direction and ensure the smooth advancement of all agenda items. Discussions were active and collaborative, fostering an efficient and productive working environment.

Across these meetings, participants aligned on key priorities and work guidelines for the upcoming two-year term. The exchanges helped unify perspectives, build consensus, and establish a solid foundation for CFBCI’s strategic direction moving forward.

The Public Information Committee convened two working meetings on April 8 and April 22 at the CFBCI’s 7th-floor conference room, under the guidance of Executive Vice President Paul Yeung (Committee Adviser) and Director Gilbert Kua Yan Yee (Committee Chairman). Deliberations focused on strengthening information dissemination systems, refining external publicity strategies, and enhancing media relations. The committee aims to improve the timeliness, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of communication to elevate CFBCI’s public image.

The Trade & Commerce Committee held its meeting on April 15 at the Solace Hotel in Makati City, chaired by Director Richard Yao. Officers and members discussed key priorities, including expanding trade platforms and facilitating business opportunity exchanges among members. The committee reached several agreements and will prioritize the development of diverse business initiatives, while strengthening linkages with local and international business organizations to broaden opportunities for collaboration.

The Welfare Committee conducted its first committee meeting on April 17 at Juwei by King Chef in Quezon City, guided by Vice President Vicente Co (Committee Adviser). The committee outlined its dual focus: enhancing member benefits to reinforce engagement and belongingness, and organizing social and charitable initiatives to expand CFBCI’s community impact. The meeting concluded with a fellowship banquet, further strengthening camaraderie among members.

The External Committee held its meeting on April 18 at the Solace Hotel in Makati City, under the guidance of President Gerald Chan (Committee Adviser) and Director Mylene Co (Committee Chairman). Key discussions centered on strengthening external relations and deepening partnerships with business and industry groups. The committee will also work toward building a multi-layered global network to enhance CFBCI’s international presence. A post-meeting banquet hosted by Director Co provided an opportunity for further engagement and strategic discussions.

The Organization Committee held its first committee meeting on April 20 at the Oriental Palace Restaurant in Quezon City, guided by President Gerald Chan (Committee Adviser) and Director Ellen Martines (Committee Chairman). Discussions focused on organizational systems, membership development strategies, and coordination mechanisms for activities. The committee aims to support the CFBCI’s long-term sustainability through structured and standardized management practices. The meeting was followed by a dinner hosted by Director Martines.

Through these coordinated efforts, CFBCI reinforces its commitment to organizational excellence, member engagement, and meaningful collaboration. The collective insights and unified direction established across all committees position the organization to effectively pursue its goals for the term, while expanding its impact within both the business community and society at large.

菲華工商總會訊：本會第十五屆董事會及理事會就職以來，會務蓬勃開展。日前，屬下各委員會已陸續召開小組協調會議。理事長曾國強親自出席並指導工作，確保各項議程順利推進。會議期間，與會領導及同仁積極互動，現場氣氛熱烈且高效。大家圍繞未來兩年任期的工作方針展開深入探討，進一步統一思想、凝聚共識，為本會未來發展藍圖奠定了堅實基礎。

公共資訊委員會（Public Information Committee）分別於四月八日及四月二十二日在本會七樓會議室召開兩次工作會議。會議由執行副理事長兼督導楊良田、副理事長林天德親臨指導，主任柯仁義主持。出席成員還包括副主任林樹仁、王金龍、許清山、曾國翔，以及理事委員楊森木、洪萬益、吳聖順。中文秘書蔡艷霞、西文秘書梅西卡列席記錄。兩次會議針對本會的資訊發佈機制、對外宣傳策略及媒體聯繫等核心議題進行了深入探討。委員們集思廣益，旨在通過優化傳播管道，進一步提升本會的整體社會形象與資訊傳播效率，確保會務動態能夠即時、準確地傳達。

商務委員會（Trade & Commerce Committee）於四月十五日假馬加智市Solace酒店會議室召開首次會議，會議由董事兼主任姚慶祕主持，董事侯逸蘭、洪海濱，副主任顏漢龍、王輝益、蔡長城，以及理事委員陳培平、陳光榮共同出席。西文秘書梅西與聯絡員吳宛盈列席記錄。與會成員就「拓展經貿平臺」及「促進會員商機交流」等核心課題展開熱烈討論。會議達成多項共識，未來將重點規劃多元化的商務活動，並致力於深化與本地及國際工商團體的溝通紐帶，旨在為會員單位搭建更廣闊的合作橋樑，開創經貿新局面。

福利委員會（Welfare Committee）於四月十七日假計順市聚味餐廳（Juwei by King Chef）舉行首次小組會議，由副理事長兼督導許長泰親臨指導，副主任王明雄、楊金豐、莊長順，理事委員許啟敏，以及中文秘書蔡艷霞、聯絡吳宛盈共同出席。會議明確了未來工作重點：一方面將持續優化會員福利，增強本會的歸屬感；另一方面將積極籌劃社會慈善活動，提升本會的社會參與度與貢獻力。會後，許長泰副理事長特設豐盛晚宴款待全體成員，席間歡談不斷，進一步增進了同仁間的同僚情誼。

外交委員會（External Committee）於四月十八日假馬加智市Solace酒店會議室召開首次會議，會議由董事兼主任侯逸蘭主持，副主任林文龍，理事委員蔡敏慎、陳金華，以及中文秘書蔡艷霞、西文秘書梅西卡與聯絡吳宛盈列席記錄。會議重點包括加強對外聯繫、拓展國際交流及深化與各國工商團體的合作關係。外交委員會未來將致力於構建多層次的對外聯繫網路，不僅要積極拓展國際交流空間，更要深耕與各國工商團體的合作夥伴關係，以提升本會在國際商務舞臺上的話語權。會議結束後，侯逸蘭主任慷慨設宴款待與會同仁，大家在溫馨融洽的氣氛中進一步增進情誼，共話未來。

組織委員會（Organization Committee）於四月二十日下午假計順市華園酒家宴會廳召開首次小組會議，出席成員包括，副理事長鄭奕偉親臨指導，董事兼主任施玲玲主持，出席成員包括董事蔡文微，副主任吳治平、許清山，理事委員陳柏材、顏崇順，以及中文秘書蔡艷霞與聯絡吳宛盈。委員們針對會內組織運作、新會員發展策略及各項活動統籌機制進行了深度探討，旨在通過規範化的管理為會務的可持續發展築牢根基。會後，董事兼主任施玲玲特設晚宴招待與會同仁，大家在輕鬆的氛圍中暢談交流，進一步增強了委員會的向心力。

隨著各委員會小組會議的順利告一段落，本會新一屆會務已全面開啟新局。全體與會領導與同仁一致表示，在未來的兩年任期內，將堅定執行既定方針，緊扣新屆主題「推動創新，共建未來」，以開拓進取的姿態積極履行職責，在完善內部機制的同時，致力為菲華工商界開創更多機遇。
