On 26 August 2026, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) officially turned over its donation in support of the construction of a two-classroom school building that will benefit the Arigoy Mangyan Integrated School in San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro.

The initiative forms part of CFBCI’s continuing commitment to supporting education and community development, particularly in underserved areas where improved school facilities can contribute significantly to providing children with a better learning environment. Through this contribution, CFBCI hopes to help create a more conducive and accessible space for students and teachers in the Mangyan community.

Complementing its financial contribution for the school building, CFBCI, in partnership with Royale Parc Hotel and Wuling Philippines, also donated 160 units of rechargeable solar lighting systems to the community.

The solar-powered lighting systems are intended to provide a practical, sustainable, and reliable source of illumination, particularly in areas where access to stable electricity may be limited. The donation reflects the organizations’ shared commitment to addressing practical community needs while promoting solutions that can provide lasting benefits to families and residents.

On behalf of the Municipality of San Teodoro, Hon. Salvador Py, Vice Mayor, together with the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, formally received the donations during the CFBCI 7th Plenary Council Meeting. The turnover underscored the importance of cooperation among the private sector, local government, and community stakeholders in advancing initiatives that directly benefit local residents.

CFBCI looks forward to sustaining partnerships with local communities and government institutions in pursuing programs that promote education, inclusive development, and meaningful opportunities for underserved communities.
