On 27 August 2026, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) formally
became an official Service Learning Partner of De La Salle-College of Saint
Benilde (Benilde) during the “Paglinang
2026: Partners’ Faith Formation & Thanksgiving 2026,”
hosted by the Benilde Center for Faculty Advancement at The Selah Garden Hotel
Manila.
Through this partnership,
CFBCI will collaborate with Benilde in the implementation of its Service
Learning Program, creating meaningful opportunities for engagement between the
organization and the Benildean community. The collaboration aims to advance initiatives
that promote social responsibility, experiential learning, and sustainable
community development.
Together with other partner
companies, organizations, and distinguished individuals, CFBCI President Gerald Uy Chan formally signed
the partnership agreement with Benilde, signifying CFBCI’s commitment to
supporting the College’s service learning initiatives. Now in its eighth year,
the Benilde Service-Learning Program has implemented 711 projects across the
country and has gained recognition both locally and internationally.
Through this partnership,
CFBCI looks forward to sharing its resources, expertise, and experience with
the Benildean community while providing students with meaningful opportunities
to learn, serve, and contribute to society. The collaboration further strengthens
CFBCI’s continuing commitment to education, community development, and
partnerships that empower the next generation.
The partnership was preceded
by an initial engagement on June 25, when Ms. Bleszl Nilo, Service-Learning
Specialist of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, visited the CFBCI Head
Office and presented a comprehensive overview of the Service Learning Program
to the CFBCI Education Committee.
CFBCI extends its sincere
gratitude to De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde for the opportunity to take
part in this meaningful undertaking. As an official Service Learning Partner,
CFBCI looks forward to a productive and enduring collaboration with Benilde in
nurturing socially responsible individuals and creating a positive and
sustainable impact in communities.
