On 22 March 2026, Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) President Gerald Uy Chan graced the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the “Philippine Zi-Der Art Club 20th Anniversary and Members’ Exhibition” held at the ground floor exhibition hall of Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) in Binondo, Manila.

The exhibition marked two decades of artistic excellence and collective creativity, showcasing the diverse works of the Club’s members. CFBCI expresses its appreciation for the opportunity to join artists, community leaders, and distinguished guests in celebrating shared heritage and artistic expression.

The program formally began with mentor Arsenia Lim of the Philippine Zi-Der Chinese Art Club delivering the welcome address. She traced the Club’s twenty-year history and underscored its members’ sustained dedication to the arts, emphasizing the role of calligraphy and painting in cultivating the spirit and preserving Chinese cultural heritage.

Congratulatory remarks were delivered by Victor Lim, President of FFCCCII, who commended the exhibitors’ talent and their contributions to fostering cultural exchange between the Philippines and China. Additional messages were conveyed by distinguished guests, including Dr. Judelio Yap, President of Chiang Kai Shek College.

The ceremony concluded with a formal ribbon-cutting, signifying the official opening of the exhibition. Featuring recent works by twenty-three members from diverse professional backgrounds and age groups, from their thirties to their nineties, the collection reflects strong intergenerational continuity.

The exhibited pieces span a wide range of subjects and are rendered in various calligraphic styles, including regular, running, clerical, and seal scripts. Collectively, the works demonstrate technical refinement and artistic depth, illustrating a successful integration of tradition and innovation.

The four-day exhibition attracted strong public interest and critical acclaim, affirming the vitality of Chinese calligraphy and painting in the Philippines and highlighting the Club’s significant contributions over the past two decades.

菲華工商總會訊：本會理事長曾國強於二○二六年三月廿二日（星期日）上午十時，應菲律濱自得書畫會誠摯邀請，出席假菲華商聯總會一樓展廳隆重舉行之「成立廿週年會員作品展」開幕典禮，並擔任剪綵嘉賓。此次展覽還邀請了多位華社領袖主持剪綵，嘉賓雲集，場面熱烈，這不僅是對該會在海外傳承中華傳統書畫藝術的高度肯定，也體現了菲華各界對文化事業的熱忱支持與凝聚力。

開幕典禮由施安順擔任主持人，導師蔡秀雲致歡迎詞，她回顧了自得書畫會二十年來從創立至今的發展歷程，以及會員們對中華書畫藝術的堅守。她的致辭強調了藝術在洗滌心靈、傳承文化方面的獨特價值。菲華商聯總會理事長林榮輝、中正學院校長葉啟明博士亦分別致賀詞。會長黃曼慧致謝辭，感謝各界嘉賓蒞臨支持，隨後舉行隆重剪綵儀式，將現場氣氛推向高潮，為展覽揭開華彩序幕。

此次展覽彙集了包括蔡秀雲導師在內共廿三位會員的近年潛心創作，參展會員職業背景多樣，年齡跨度從三十多歲至九十歲高齡，展現出「老、中、青」三代同堂的傳承景象。展出作品題材豐富，涵蓋傳統的梅蘭竹菊、各色花卉鳥獸、蔬果魚蝦等，書法則包括楷、行、隸、篆各體，風格多元而各具神韻，筆墨之間盡顯深厚功底與藝術修養，充分展現菲華藝術家在傳統與創新交融中的卓越成果。

該展覽為期四天，開放期間吸引眾多藝術愛好者踴躍前來參觀，現場反應熱烈、佳評如潮，為菲華藝文界再添一抹亮麗風采。此次展覽圓滿成功，正是中華書畫藝術在海外賡續綿延的生動寫照。
菲律濱自得書畫會成立二十年來，持續弘揚中華文化藝術，深耕菲律濱沃土，凝聚眾多書畫人才，成果斐然，令人欽敬。欣逢成立二十週年之慶，舉辦會員作品聯展，展品筆力遒勁、意境深遠，足見諸位藝術家積年淬礪之功力與不懈創作之熱忱，實堪嘉許。本會期盼未來持續深化交流合作，攜手共促菲華文化藝術邁向更高境地。
