CFBCI JOINS OPENING OF PHLSE 2026

On 08 October 2026, officers of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI), led by Executive Vice President Paul Yeung, graced the Opening Ceremony of the Philippine Lifestyle Sourcing Expo (PHLSE) 2026 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The three-day event, held from October 8 to 10, brought together local and international suppliers, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs to showcase innovations and foster trade, investment, and business collaboration.

Organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles (CCCT) and Huiyuan Culture Development Group Co., Ltd., PHLSE 2026 featured three major exhibitions under one roof: the Philippine Apparel Textile Show, Philippine Sport Show, and Asia International E-Commerce Expo. Together, these exhibitions highlighted developments in garments, textiles, footwear, sporting goods, lifestyle products, and electronic innovations, reinforcing the Philippines’ growing role in regional and international trade.

During the exhibition, CFBCI received the Distinguished Partner Award, presented by CCCT Chairman Mr. Cao Jiachang, in recognition of its partnership and support. The expo also received welcome messages from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., Senate President Win Gatchalian, Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Cristina A. Roque, Philippine Economic Zone Authority Director General Tereso Panga, and Philippine Sports Commission Commissioner Matthew Gaston, underscoring its significance as a sourcing and trade platform.

In his congratulatory message published in the show directory, CFBCI President Gerald Uy Chan emphasized the importance of shared learning and cooperation in achieving business growth. He noted that progress depends not only on the products and innovations presented but also on recognizing the entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and enterprises whose dedication and ingenuity drive the industry forward.

Following the opening ceremony, visitors explored a wide range of apparel, textiles, footwear, sporting goods, and lifestyle products, while enjoying interactive activities such as Pickleball LIVE!, the Attack Arena, and ROOTED: The Filipino Runway, which celebrated Filipino heritage through contemporary fashion. CFBCI also maintained a complimentary booth at the expo, providing an opportunity to engage with exhibitors, buyers, and industry representatives. Its participation reaffirmed CFBCI’s commitment to fostering business partnerships, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, and strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the Philippines and the international business community.
