CFBCI DONATES 20 COMPUTER SETS TO VALENZUELA CITY CENTRAL FIRE STATION

On 21 September 2026, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI), led by President Gerald Uy Chan, donated twenty (20) computer sets and three (3) printer units to the Valenzuela City Central Fire Station to support its administrative and operational functions.

The donation was formally received during the station’s weekly flag-raising ceremony, which began at 7:30 in the morning. The occasion was made more meaningful as CFBCI officers and representatives were invited to join the ceremony and meet with the fire officers of the station.

“Masaya po kaming makabalik sa inyong himpilan. Once again, we can genuinely feel your warm hospitality and, more importantly, the strong spirit of partnership and collaboration between CFBCI and the Bureau of Fire Protection,” President Chan said.

The donation builds on the partnership established between CFBCI and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Valenzuela City. On 22 April 2026, CFBCI conducted a courtesy visit to the office of FSupt. Ma. Theresa A. Alqueza, City Fire Marshal of Valenzuela City. The meeting provided an opportunity to reaffirm CFBCI’s commitment to supporting government-led initiatives, particularly those related to public safety, disaster preparedness, and community resilience.

During the meeting, both parties engaged in constructive discussions on potential areas of cooperation and emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration between the BFP and the local business sector.

As part of its commitment to supporting BFP Valenzuela City, the CFBCI Board of Directors and Plenary Council for 2026–2028 approved a proposal to call for donations from generous individuals and companies for the procurement of twenty (20) computer sets and three (3) printer units. The equipment is intended to strengthen the station’s administrative capabilities and support its continuing service to the communities of Valenzuela City.

The donation was received under the leadership of FCSUPT Roy Roderick P. Aguto, DSC, Regional Director of the BFP–National Capital Region; the supervision of FSSUPT Marvin T. Carbonel, DSC, District II Fire Marshal; and the direction of FSupt. Ma. Theresa A. Alqueza, City Fire Marshal of Valenzuela City.

CFBCI is honored to support the BFP in strengthening its capacity to serve the community. The organization remains committed to building meaningful partnerships with government agencies and supporting initiatives that contribute to safer, more prepared, and more resilient communities.

CFBCI likewise extends its sincere appreciation to the generous individuals who contributed to the success of the donation project: Gerald Chan, Dante Go, Paul Yeung, Jocelyn See, Johnny Lee, Vicente Co, Antonio Tan, Richard Alviar, Gregorio Lagamayo, Robert Chua, Antonio Hui, Herman Chong, Jackson Ngie, Mason Ang, Stewart Sy, Richard Lim, Carol Yao, Edmund Lim, Kenneth Tang, William Terence Lim Jr., and Mariebeth Co. —Please add kung sino po nag-donate nung printers
