On 14 October 2026, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) conducted “Project Tribute” at Pedro Guevara Elementary School, Binondo, Manila in celebration of World Teachers’ Day, recognizing the invaluable contributions of educators in nurturing young minds and shaping the future of the next generation.
Representing Hon. Isko Moreno Domagoso, Mayor of Manila, Hon. Tol Zarcal, Councilor of Manila’s 3rd District, graced the turnover ceremony alongside Hon. Manuel “Letlet” Zarcal, Secretary to the Mayor of Manila. Dr. Reynaldo S. Pineda, Jr., DepEd Manila Public Schools District Supervisor, also attended the event to express appreciation for CFBCI’s generous contribution to the education sector.
Through this initiative, a total of 500 teachers from Pedro Guevara Elementary School, Jose Abad Santos High School, and Rajah Soliman Science and Technology High School received grocery gift packs from CFBCI as a gesture of gratitude for their unwavering dedication, perseverance, and commitment to the teaching profession.
The principals of the participating schools likewise expressed their sincere gratitude to CFBCI for recognizing the hard work and dedication of their teachers through this meaningful initiative.
Through Project Tribute, CFBCI reaffirms its commitment to supporting education and recognizing the individuals who play a fundamental role in the country’s development. By honoring teachers and acknowledging their invaluable service, the organization hopes to inspire continued appreciation for the teaching profession and encourage collective efforts to create a better future for Filipino learners. For CFBCI, investing in education goes beyond providing assistance — it means empowering educators, nurturing future leaders, and contributing to the long-term progress of the nation.
