CFBCI MEETS JCI SENATE MANILA 菲華工商總會會晤馬尼拉國際青商參會舉行友好座談共商企業合作發展新契機
On 14 May 2026, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) held a productive meeting with the officials of JCI Senate Manila, led by its President, Armand Valencia, at the Rockwell Club in Makati City.
Joining CFBCI President Gerald Uy Chan during the meeting were Mylene Hao Co, Director; Jimmy Ang, Director; Robert Chua, Director; and Jaap Ang, Member. On behalf of JCI Senate Manila, President Valencia graced the meeting along with Allen K. Uy, Executive Vice President for Internal Affairs; Glenn U. Chan, Secretary General; Eugene C. Ang, Vice President for Ways and Means; and Helton Tan, Vice President for Communications.
The meeting officially commenced with opening remarks from both presidents. In his address, JCI Senate Manila President Armand Valencia presented a comprehensive overview of the organization’s history, mission, and priorities. Established in 1979, JCI Senate Manila was founded to unite members of the JCI Manila Chapter who are over 40 years old. Today, it stands as one of the organization’s strongest chapters, with approximately 300 active members working together to implement projects that benefit both their members and the wider community.
Representing CFBCI, President Chan delivered a formal message expressing the organization’s sincere appreciation for the opportunity to engage with the leadership of JCI Senate Manila. “We deeply value the warm welcome extended to our delegation and appreciate the spirit of camaraderie and professionalism that your organization continues to uphold,” he remarked.
Following the opening addresses, the officers from both organizations were formally introduced. CFBCI then presented a video highlighting its rich history, mission, vision, and ongoing initiatives. In response, President Valencia commended CFBCI for its unwavering commitment to creating positive social impact, describing the organization’s initiatives as both an “eye-opener” and an “inspiration” to fellow community organizations.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for both organizations to strengthen their relationship and exchange insights on leadership, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. Both groups expressed optimism about future collaborations centered on innovation, social welfare, and meaningful public service. To conclude the meeting, JCI Senate Manila presented CFBCI with a special Plaque of Appreciation, followed by a commemorative photo opportunity.
Following the formal meeting, the CFBCI officers remained at the venue to participate in the business roundtable discussion titled “Surviving the Current Geopolitical Challenges and its Implications on Philippine SMEs,” organized by JCI Senate Manila.
菲華工商總會訊：為深化與本地優秀社團之交流合作，拓展與青年領袖之聯繫，本會於二零二六年五月十四日（星期四）下午，假馬加智市洛克威俱樂部（Rockwell Club），與馬尼拉國際青年商會參議員協會（JCI Senate Manila）舉行友好交流座談會。雙方聚焦領導力發展、企業創新、社會服務，以及國際局勢對菲律濱中小企業之影響等議題深入交換意見，現場互動熱烈，成果豐碩。
當日，馬尼拉國際青年商會參議員協會由會長Armand Valencia親率多位核心幹部出席，包括內務執行副會長Allen K. Uy、秘書長Glenn U. Chan、財務及籌款副會長Eugene C. Ang，以及傳訊副會長Helton Tan等。本會則由理事長曾國強率同董事侯逸蘭、洪海濱、蔡文微，會員洪煜程，以及西文秘書梅西卡共同與會。
會議開始，雙方領導分別致詞。Armand Valencia會長首先介紹了該會的歷史沿革、宗旨理念及未來發展方向。他表示，該會創立於一九七九年，旨在凝聚年逾四十歲之馬尼拉國際青年商會資深精英。歷經四十餘年砥礪發展，目前已成為該體系最具影響力的分會之一，擁有約三百名活躍會員，長期積極推動多項惠及會員福祉與社區發展之公益計劃，深獲菲律濱社會各界好評。
隨後，本會理事長曾國強代表致詞，對馬尼拉國際青年商會參議員協會之熱情接待，表達誠摯謝意。他表示：「本會十分珍惜此次交流契機，並高度讚賞貴會長期秉持的團結精神與專業素養；深信透過雙方持續的互動與合作，必能進一步深化友誼，共同為菲律濱社會創造更大價值。」
在自由交流環節中，雙方與會成員逐一自我介紹並熱烈互動。隨後，現場播放本會會務簡介影片，創會宗旨，以及近年來在推動社會公益與工商服務方面所取得的豐碩成果。Armand Valencia會長對本會長期致力於公益事業、推動社區正向發展的卓越貢獻給予高度肯定，並盛讚多項核心計劃令人耳目一新，堪稱社團界的典範與啟發。
此次交流不僅鞏固了彼此情誼，更為未來的跨界合作奠定了堅實基礎。展望未來，雙方期待在創新發展、社會福利及公共服務等多元領域展開更深層次的合作，攜手回饋社會，共促社區繁榮與進步。
座談尾聲，馬尼拉國際青年商會參議員協會特別致贈紀念牌匾予本會，以誌雙方此次友好交流之深厚情誼。與會嘉賓隨後一同合影留念，為本次座談活動畫下圓滿句點。
會後，本會領導及同仁續留現場，應邀出席由馬尼拉國際青年商會參議員協會主辦之商業圓桌論壇。論壇以「當前地緣政治挑戰及其對菲律濱中小企業之影響」為主題，聚焦全球局勢變化下企業所面臨的機遇與挑戰。
論壇上，主講嘉賓與工商界精英圍繞全球政經形勢演變、企業因應策略及未來發展方向等核心議題，帶來了高瞻遠矚的精闢分析。本會領導同仁全程專注聆聽，認真汲取前沿商業觀點，並在會後紛紛表示此行解析透徹、內容充實，令與會者拓寬了宏觀視野，皆感受益良多。
