On the afternoon of the Chinese New Year, January 21, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) President Mr. Stephen Sia and other officers were invited to attend a series of activities jointly organized by CHiNOY TV and Lucky Chinatown Mall to celebrate the Chinese New Year.

In addition to dragon and lion dances, dance and singing programs, there were also traditional cultural presentations such as martial arts and face painting, and many famous local male and female singers were invited to perform live, attracting many people of all ages and genders to stop and watch the colorful performances.

He also shared some of the interesting customs of the Chinese New Year and invited everyone to join the Chinese New Year Parade organized by the City of Manila, the Philippine Tourism Authority and the Manila Chinatown Development Council in the afternoon of the first day of the Chinese New Year after the pandemic. Our Secretary also attended the countdown to welcome the Year of the Rabbit with thousands of people.

菲華工商總會訊：本會理事長謝國萬在立案秘書吳恆利及理事莊南文的陪同下，於一月廿一日除夕下午，應邀出席參加由菲華電視台及美加廣場聯合舉辦，系列慶祝中國傳統春節的活動，在美加廣場外場行人道搭台進行春節文藝匯演，除了舞龍舞獅、舞蹈、歌唱節目以外，尚有武術、變臉等傳統文化節目，及邀請到多位本土著名男女歌星現場演唱，豐富多彩的演出，吸引男女老少眾多民眾駐足觀看。本會理事長謝國萬應邀致詞，他向與會民眾恭祝春節快樂，並分享一些農曆新年的有趣習俗，及邀請大家參與農曆正月一日下午，由馬尼拉市、菲旅遊局及馬尼拉市政府華人區發展委員會與華社各大團體共同舉行的春節大巡遊活動，一起歡渡疫情後首個農曆新年的慶典。本會立案秘書吳恆利亦出席當晚的迎春倒計時，與數千群眾一起迎接兔年的來臨，共享節日的喜慶。
