Officers of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) attended the New Year's Eve Fireworks Gala organized by the Manila City Government at Jones Bridge in Binondo on January 21, 2022 to welcome the arrival of the Lunar New Year. Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna, Vice Mayor Yul Servo, Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian, various guests of honor, and representatives from other Filipino-Chinese organizations attended the event.

Mayor Lacuna and Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian delivered their New Year's greetings, thanking the Filipino-Chinese community for their important contributions to the development of multi-culturalism in the Philippines and the innovation of infrastructures in Manila.

As the countdown to Chinese New Year ended at zero, a beautiful fireworks show was held on the Chinese-funded Philippine-China Friendship Bridge B-I, which instantly lit up the night sky with bright fireworks. The fireworks show was a great success, with cheers and applause on both sides of the Pasig River, as people took pictures of the colorful and spectacular fireworks to share with their friends and family.

菲華工商總會訊：本會理事長謝國萬，執行副理事長黃書瑋，副理事長楊良田於一月廿一日（星期六）農曆除夕當晚，出席由馬尼拉市政府假中國城鍾斯橋舉行的慶祝癸卯兔年春節跨年倒計時迎春煙火晚會，以迎接農曆新年的來臨。馬尼拉市市長拉古娜，副市長尤素福，中國駐菲大使黃溪連，菲律濱候任駐華大使吉米，馬科斯總統首席禮賓官克魯茲，中國駐菲使館參贊兼總領事王悅，馬尼拉市政府華人區發展委員會主席蔡瑧蔚以及其他菲華社團的代表等出席參加。

拉古娜市長和中國駐菲大使黃溪連閣下相繼發表新年賀詞，感謝菲華社會為菲律濱多元文化發展及馬尼拉城市建設作出的重要貢獻，馬尼拉市政府時隔三年終於擺脫疫情陰霾，再次舉辦中國春節慶典活動，祝願菲中友誼明天更美好。

伴隨著中國新年零點倒計時的結束，在中國援建的菲中友誼橋B-I上施放美輪美奐的煙火秀，璀璨的煙花瞬間點亮夜空。巴石河兩岸萬頭攢動，歡呼和喝彩聲連連，民眾人手一機，將這漫天五彩繽紛，精彩絕倫的煙花拍攝下來分享給親朋好友，現場洋溢著歡樂氣氛，一起迎來吉祥喜慶的兔年。
