The Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) successfully carried out a three-day, two-night regional visit to Isabela Province from September 27 to 29, 2025. On the final day of the visit (September 29), at 7:00 AM, the delegation joined the Cauayan City Government’s flag-raising ceremony and its 2025 National Tourism Month Celebration at the city plaza, presided over by Chinese-Filipino Mayor Hon. Caesar “Jaycee” Dy Jr.

The celebration highlighted Cauayan City’s tourism industry by showcasing local culture, products, and artistic talent. Thirty-six organizations including travel agencies and certified local enterprises exhibited promotional materials to encourage tourism and economic activity. A key highlight was a fashion show featuring students from Isabela State University, who modeled garments made using traditional Cauayan weaving techniques. Princess Diane Tutun, representative of Cauayan City and candidate for the upcoming “Miss Tourism Philippines” pageant to be held in the city, also graced the event.

After the program, the CFBCI delegation met with Mayor Caesar “Jaycee” Dy Jr. and Vice Mayor Benjie Dy III at the mayor’s office. Mayor Dy commended CFBCI’s longstanding contributions to charitable, educational, and community development efforts in Isabela Province. He also expressed his appreciation for CFBCI’s sustained support for local development and its active involvement in social affairs.

Previously, the delegation met with Hon. Faustino “Bojie” Dy III, Representative of the Sixth District of Isabela and newly appointed Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines; Mayor Kervin Uy, the Chinese-Filipino mayor of Burgos; and Mayor Caesar “Jaycee” Dy Jr. of Cauayan City. Discussions focused on infrastructure development, educational improvement, and youth development.

In education, CFBCI visited Cagayan State University and held gatherings with scholarship recipients, allowing the delegation to better understand local educational needs through direct conversations with students and their parents. The delegation also attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the facade and lobby renovation project at Nan Sing School of Cauayan City.

In Burgos, CFBCI revisited its Poso Mula sa Puso projects to assess local water supply conditions and community needs, further demonstrating CFBCI’s long-term commitment to rural livelihood issues. The visit also included a tour of the Magat Dam, a key regional infrastructure facility, enriching the delegation’s understanding of the area’s development potential.

Since launching its series of regional visits, CFBCI has successfully engaged with its provincial members in Naga, Legazpi, and Isabela Province. At each destination, CFBCI interacted with political and business leaders, members of the Chinoy community, and various educational institutions, listening to grassroots concerns and building foundations for long-term cooperation. Moving forward, CFBCI remains steadfast in its service ethos of “taking from society and giving back to society,” striving to deliver more concrete actions for the benefit of the broader community.

菲華工商總會訊：本會第十四屆外埠巡迴訪問團於二零二五年九月二十七日至二十九日，為期三天兩夜的伊沙迷拉省（Isabela）外埠交流行程，訪問團成員於行程最後一天（九月二十九日）上午七時，應邀前往郊亞鄢市（Cauayan City）政府，參加市政廣場升旗典禮暨全國觀光月(National Tourism Month Celebration 2025)慶典，活動由華裔市長Caesar “Jaycee” Dy Jr.親自主持。

該活動旨在促進該市旅遊業發展，同時彰顯郊亞鄢市民的在地文化、產品與藝術成就。三十六家機構攜帶宣傳品參展，展示其服務與產品，其中包含旅行社及認證在地企業，希望能吸引更多遊客造訪該市。活動亮點之一是伊沙迷拉州立大學學生參與的服裝秀，模特兒身著採用郊亞鄢傳統織造工藝製作的服飾走秀。郊亞鄢市代表、即將於該市舉行的「菲律濱旅遊小姐」選美賽參賽者黛安‧圖坦公主亦出席慶典。

慶典之後，巡訪團成員在市長辦公室與Caesar “Jaycee” Dy Jr.市長與Benjie Dy III副市長進行親切交流；Caesar “Jaycee” Dy Jr.市長，高度肯定本會多年來對伊沙迷拉省各地在慈善、教育與民生建設上的貢獻，並感謝本會長期支持地方發展，積極參與社會事務。雙方互動熱烈。

總結此次伊沙迷拉巡訪行程：先後拜會伊沙迷拉第六區眾議員暨新任眾議長李武志閣下（Hon. Faustino “Bojie” Dy III）、布古斯市華裔市長黃清河（Mayor Kervin Uy）與郊亞鄢市長Caesar “Jaycee” Dy Jr.市長，就基礎建設、教育推動、青年發展等議題展開深入交流。

教育方面，參訪加牙淵省立大學（Cagayan State University）；與本會在加牙淵市和郊亞鄢市「點亮未來」受助生聚會，了解當地教育資源現況，並與受助學生及其家長面對面交流。出席南星學校裝修校舍外觀與大廳完善工程剪綵暨揭牌儀式。前往布古斯市實地視察本會捐建之「愛心水井」，了解當地用水情況與居民需求，體現對偏鄉民生議題的長期關注與實質支持；並參觀當地重要基礎設施Magat大壩，加深對地區發展潛力之了解。

本會訪問團成員包括：理事長黃書瑋，副理事長陳華民，董事鄭奕偉，常務理事王輝益、留牡丹、施惠萍，理事呂偉利，同仁楊金豐，中文秘書蔡艷霞，西文秘書梅西卡，聯絡吳宛盈，以及秘書處外勤 Jan Lloyd Villanueva 等人。充分展現本會對地方事務的重視與長期承諾。

本會自八月初啟動第十四屆外埠巡迴計劃以來，已成功走訪了黎牙實備市、那牙市與伊沙迷拉省，每站均積極拜會政商界、華社代表與教育機構，廣泛聆聽基層聲音，建立長遠合作基礎。未來，本會將持續以「取之社會、用之社會」為服務宗旨，推動更多實質行動回饋社會。
