On 15 January 2026, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) Metro Manila delegation, led by President Samuel Lee Uy and Honorary President Stephen Tan Sia, continued its Bacolod City tour. At 9:00 a.m., accompanied by Bacolod Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. (BFCCCII), Bacolod Filipino-Chinese Junior Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade members, the delegation visited Campuestohan Highland Resort, owned by Filipino-Chinese businessman, Ricardo Tan. Located at the foothills of Mt. Makawili, the elevated resort is known for its cool climate and popularity as a family-friendly summer destination and adventure park.

The resort’s most iconic attraction is the Guinness World Records–certified “World’s Largest Chicken-Shaped Structure,” Manok ni Cano Gwapo, standing 34.9 meters tall and housing fifteen fully air-conditioned guest rooms. Mr. Tan shared that the structure symbolizes resilience and the indomitable spirit of the local cockfighting industry.

The resort has further expanded its offerings with a newly launched 26-seat aerial tramway and popular adventure rides such as the Sky Bike, Hamster Wheel, and Rope Challenge. Plans are also underway to establish additional world records, including a giant gorilla sculpture, the world’s longest water slide, and an ultra-large infinity pool, all aimed at boosting Bacolod’s tourism.

At noon, the delegation enjoyed the resort’s signature lechon), paired with rich bulalo. The hearty meal, savored in the cool highland air, provided a comforting and authentic taste of Filipino cuisine. Members also took time to appreciate the resort’s landscape design, which seamlessly blends natural ecology with themed architecture.

In the afternoon, the delegation proceeded with an in-depth political and economic exchange itinerary. At 3:00 p.m., they paid courtesy calls on Bacolod City Mayor Greg Gasataya and Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio José “Bong” Lacson. Discussions focused on local development, industrial and commercial cooperation, and social services, further strengthening mutual understanding and future collaboration.

菲華工商總會訊：本會第十四屆外埠巡迴訪問團於一月十五日（星期四），本會理事長黃書瑋及名譽理事長謝國萬搭乘上午班機，與巡訪團成員集合，繼續描戈律市（Bacolod City）參訪行程，上午九時，巡訪團在本會地區理事、描戈律菲華工商聯合會成員及志願消防隊員的陪同下，前往華商陳振華先生(Ricardo Tan)主有的Campuestohan High Land Resort渡假村參觀。這裡坐落在馬考維里山（Mt. Makawili）山腳下，海拔較高，氣候涼爽，是深受家庭遊客喜愛的避暑與主題冒險樂園。

該渡假村最受矚目的，是獲金氏世界紀錄 (Guinness World Records) 認證的「世界最大雞型建築」——Manok ni Cano Gwapo。這座高達 34.9 公尺的巨型公雞，不僅是壯觀地標，內部更設有十五間全空調現代化客房。創辦人陳振華先生表示，這座建築象徵了當地鬥雞產業的韌性與不屈的精神，讓旅客能體驗獨一無二的「住在傳奇裡」的住宿感受。今年初，渡假村持續創新，推出了全新廿六人座空中纜車，讓遊客能俯瞰高地森林與遠處班乃島美景。廣受歡迎的「空中單車」、「倉鼠輪」及「繩索挑戰」等刺激項目也持續開放。渡假村也正積極挑戰更多世界紀錄，包括建設百英尺高的巨型大猩猩雕塑、全球最長滑水道及超大型景觀泳池，預計今年內完工，持續引領巴科洛德的觀光熱潮。

中午，巡訪團在渡假村享用了當地著名的金黃烤乳豬（Lechon），其皮酥肉嫩的口感，搭配燉至骨髓入味、香氣濃郁的牛骨湯（Bulalo），交織出最道地的菲式風情。在海拔高度帶來的微涼冷冽空氣中，每一口熱騰騰的飯菜都顯得格外暖心療癒。團員們在歡愉的氛圍中，對渡假村將自然生態與主題建築完美交融的景觀設計讚嘆不已。

短暫休息後，巡訪團在描戈律菲華工商聯合會成員的陪同下，隨即進入深度的政經交流行程拜會地方首長。下午三時，抵達描戈律市政府禮訪 Greg Gasataya市長，隨後前往省政府拜會西黑人省（Negros Occidental）省長Eugenio José “Bong" Lacson。雙方就地方發展、工商合作及社會服務進行深入交流，增進互動與共識。
