In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations Between the Republic of the Philippines and the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) participated in a golf tournament held on June 10, 2025 at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club, Mandaluyong City. The tournament was organized by the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, Filipino at Tsino Magkaibigan Foundation, and the Filipino Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation.
Esteemed guests attended the event including politicians, business people, and celebrities. As one of the founding members of the Filipino at Tsino Magkaibigan Foundation, CFBCI was invited to the tournament and President Samuel Lee Uy was requested to deliver a message. In his speech, he expressed his sincerest gratitude to the tournament organizers for their relentless efforts to further promote the friendship between the Philippines and China.
In his speech, President Uy highlighted that “today’s event not only strengthens the friendly ties between the Philippines and China, but also reflects the admirable tradition of unity within Chinese communities and their strong commitment to public service. We hope this gathering will further enhance people-to-people exchanges and bring renewed energy to the relationship between our two nations.”
After the event, President Uy and the leaders of the Foundation personally awarded trophies to the winners in each category and posed for photos with guests. The atmosphere was vibrant and warm, filled with camaraderie and joy. While the competition focused on skill, what we truly gained was friendship, meaningful exchange, and a cheerful spirit. We look forward to coming together again next time and striving for even greater milestones!
菲華工商總會訊：為隆重紀念菲中建交五十週年，由「菲中愛心基金」聯合中國駐菲律濱大使館、菲律濱體育署，於六月十日（星期二）上午，假萬拉俞央市Wack Wack高爾夫球場，盛大舉行高爾夫球邀請賽。透過體育競賽作為橋樑，進一步促進兩國情誼，凝聚社會各界力量。
當日開球嘉賓包括：萬拉俞央市長亞描洛斯、菲華商聯總會理事長林榮輝、名譽理事長施東方，以及菲華體育總會執行副理事長王連僑、副理事長施伯年等；本會作為「菲中愛心基金」核心成員單位之一，理事長黃書瑋亦出席擔任開球嘉賓之一，共同為賽事揭開序幕。政商名流齊聚球場，共襄盛舉，充分展現菲中兩國長久以來深厚友誼與合作精神。
賽事於下午圓滿結束後，理事長黃書瑋出席頒獎典禮，並發表簡短致詞。他表示，值此菲中建交五十週年之際，能夠透過高爾夫球這項優雅且具挑戰性的運動，讓來自不同領域的朋友齊聚一堂，以球會友，實屬難得。他並代表本會及「菲中愛心基金」向精心籌劃此次活動的工作人員及各界人士的踴躍參與，致以誠摯的敬意和感謝。
理事長黃書瑋在致詞中特別強調：「今日賽事不僅促進菲中兩國友好關係，更展現華社團結互助、熱心公益的優良傳統。希望藉此活動，進一步加深菲中雙方的民間交流，為兩國關係注入更多活力。」
隨後，理事長黃書瑋與「菲中愛心基金」成員單位的領導親自為各組優勝選手頒發獎座，並與各界嘉賓合影留念，場面隆重熱絡，洋溢友誼與喜悅氣氛。比賽比的是球技，收穫的卻是友誼、交流和滿滿的好心情。期待下次再同場競技，再創佳績！
