The Chinese Filipino Business Club Inc., (CFBCI), Municipality of Pateros and Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) launched its urban farming program for the residents of Pateros last November 5, 2020. The program aims to promote farming in the urban community to become food sufficient by planting vegetables using open spaces or with the use of pots or recycled plastic gallons. The initiative will not only augment food shortage during this pandemic in the community level but will also provide income to the residents.
Apart from the seedlings, CFBCI also donated 200 sacks of rice for the residents of Pateros.
