On 10 January 2025, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) successfully organized its fifth golf tournament, formally known as the “CFBCI Invitational Golf Tournament 2025,” at the Manila Southwoods Golf & Country Club located in Carmona, Cavite. Over a hundred individuals from business and various professional and political backgrounds joyfully participated in the tournament, the proceeds of which will support CFBCI’s welfare projects.

At 6:00 a.m., all participants flocked to the Manila Southwoods Legends Clubhouse to register and retrieve their golf tournament uniforms. They also received a special bag from CFBCI carrying their morning snack and refreshments, and a rechargeable mini electric fan to keep them cool throughout the day.

Afterward, at 7:00 a.m., the participants headed to the golf course for the official tee-off ceremony. Hosted by Atty. Kesterson Kua, the ceremony went on smoothly with a total of eight special guests and officers from CFBCI leading the tee-off namely:

Then, the tournament officially began and all the participants were enthusiastic to play with their colleagues and mingle with others. All of them marveled as they saw the logos of the tournament's sponsors displayed around the golf course, at each hole, and at the registration area. Co-presented by Oishi (Liwayway Marketing Group), owned by CFBCI Director Carlos Chan, the CFBCI Invitational Golf Tournament 2025 was sponsored by at least fifty diverse companies including Zesto Food Corporation, Landlite Phils Corp, Banco de Oro (BDO), etc.

菲華工商總會訊：一月十日（星期五）上午，風和日麗，萬里晴空，本會高爾夫球邀請賽在風景宜人的甲美地省卡莫納鎮（Carmona, Cavite）的馬尼拉南林高爾夫俱樂部球場（Manila Southwoods Golf & Country Club）精彩開幕。

上午六時，參賽選手陸續簽到。上午七時，由本會常務理事柯偉順律師擔任司儀，邀請菲律濱最高法院大法官蔡友忠、甲美地第五區眾議員Roy Loyola、菲華商聯總會理事長施東方博士、菲中瞭解協會主席Raul Lambino、菲華體育總會理事長佘怡靜、菲律濱新加坡商會會長Andrew Kho、菲律濱馬來西亞商會副會長Stephen Khaw，本會理事長黃書瑋等共同主持開球儀式，為「二零二五年《工商盃》高爾夫球邀請賽」揭開序幕。

此次比賽廣邀菲華社會高爾夫球愛好者參賽，參賽人數近一百四十人，所有選手共分為A、B、C、D、女子組及青年組等六個組別進行比賽。此次賽事主要目的是為了增進本會同仁之間的感情和結識吸納新會員搭建一個交流平臺。

為了使這次比賽能夠順利成功舉行，本會特組設一個專案委員會負責策劃一切賽事，籌委會成員包括：主任鄭奕偉董事，副主任柯仁義董事、侯逸蘭常務理事，會員朱青彬。理事長黃書瑋及執行副理事長曾國強擔任顧問。該專案小組自去年底開始，為大小事宜，頻繁召開會議，仔細討論籌劃，只為盡最大的努力將比賽辦得有聲有色。本會領導同仁亦紛紛慷慨解囊，捐錢捐物資，為比賽的順利進行提供了強而有力的後盾。
