The Metro Manila delegation of the Chinese-Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) arrived in Negros Occidental on November 11, 2023, and was able to meet local Filipino-Chinese businessmen in the province. The next morning, accompanied their local colleagues, the delegation was invited to visit the Campuestohan Highland Resort owned by Mr. Ricardo Tan, a Filipino-Chinese businessman in Talisay City.

Located between Bacolod and Talisay City in Negros Occidental, the five-hectare resort has a four-lane wave pool in addition to a regular swimming pool, other attractions such as a 140-meter zip line, aerial bikes, and the first hang glider zip line in the Philippines.

The theme of the entire arena is “Jurassic Park”, with various models of dinosaurs spread across the resort and dino-mascots encouraging the visitors to take pictures with them. There is even a gorilla in Christmas costume, which is nearly three stories high for visitors to climb up to take pictures.

Another special feature of the resort is the variety of novelty rooms to choose from. The resort is not only one of the top choices for local vacationers, but also one of the top choices for travelers from all over the world due to its cool temperature and breathtaking view. The resort is indeed a popular attraction for young and old people alike and is worthy of a visit.

At noon, Mr. Tsai, also a Filipino-Chinese businessman in Talisay City, hosted a banquet for members of the delegation at his private rest house not far from the resort. Afterwards, the delegation bid farewell and set off on their return flight to Manila. This regional visit to Visayas came to a successful conclusion, and everyone went home with good memories and stories to tell.

菲華工商總會訊：本會赴描戈律外省巡迴訪問團，於十一月十一日晚抵達描戈律市，當晚與當地同仁及華商舉行座談聯誼，隔天一早在本會當地同仁的陪同下，受邀前往華商陳振華先生主有的Campuestohan Highland Resort渡假酒店及遊樂村參觀。巡訪團成員一進入渡假村，就被眼前的兩隻大恐龍驚艷到。該渡假勝地位於Negros Occidental的Bacolod和 Talisay市之間，占地五公頃，除了常規游泳池外，該渡假村還擁有一個四泳道波浪池和其他各種遊樂設施，如百百四十公尺的滑索、空中自行車，更擁有菲律濱首條懸掛式滑翔機高空滑索。整個場館的主題為恐龍，各式各樣的恐龍模型，還有幾隻行動恐龍穿梭在旅客之間，與他們合影，更有一隻穿著聖誕禮服近三層樓高的大猩猩，供遊客爬上去攝影。渡假村的另一特色就是設有多種主題各異，獨特又新奇的客房供選擇。該渡假村不僅是當地民眾渡假首選之一，而且由於其溫度涼爽，也是各地旅遊者的首選地之一。真是老少咸宜，是值得到此一遊的景點。

中午華商蔡健華在鄰近渡假村不遠的私人別館做東宴請巡訪團成員，飯後大家才依依惜別踏上了返岷歸程。此次描戈律之行圓滿結束。
