On September 27–29, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) successfully carried out its biannual visit to the Province of Isabela, strengthening ties with provincial members and exploring potential collaborations with local business and political leaders.
The 12-member delegation, led by President Samuel Lee Uy, arrived at Tuguegarao Airport on the morning of September 27. They were warmly welcomed by CFBCI’s provincial officers, members led by Vice Chairman Antonio Hui, and selected scholars who represent the organization’s advocacy for education and youth empowerment.
Immediately upon arrival, the delegation proceeded to Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus, where they held discussions with university officials on possible partnerships to expand educational opportunities for financially challenged but deserving students. This was followed by a meaningful encounter with college scholars from Cagayan Province during their monthly values formation at Ke Bing School.
En route to Isabela, the group visited the historic Saint Matias Parish Church in Tumauini. Opened more than 200 years ago, the red brick, Baroque-style parish is recognized as a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of the Philippines and has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List since 2006 under the collective group of “Baroque Churches of the Philippines.”
Later in the visit, the delegation was honored to meet Isabela 6th District Representative and newly inducted Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Faustino “Bojie” Dy III. CFBCI expresses its sincere gratitude for his warm reception and generous hospitality, which greatly inspired the officers and members. His humility and kindness, as well as his participation in CFBCI’s 13th Biennial National Convention in February 2024, remain deeply appreciated.
This biannual visit to Isabela not only reaffirmed CFBCI’s enduring commitment to its provincial members but also strengthened its advocacy for education, cultural appreciation, and meaningful partnerships. As the organization continues to grow, it remains dedicated to building stronger connections between communities, fostering progress, and empowering the next generation.
菲華工商總會訊：本會第十四屆外埠巡迴訪問團於九月二十七日（星期六）展開為期三天二夜的第三站行程，深入呂宋島北部伊沙迷拉省（Province of Isabela），持續推進本會在教育發展與社會關懷領域的長期使命。訪問團於當日上午自馬尼拉搭乘菲航班機抵達株藝牙佬市（Tuguegarao City），受到本會伊沙迷拉常務理事許家璧、洪振山及同仁黃金龍和受助生代表拉橫條熱情接機，並為巡訪團成員掛上精心準備的緞帶。隨即前往加牙淵省立大學（Cagayan State University）禮訪校方高層，就協助貧困學子擴展教育資源展開具建設性討論，深化與學術機構的合作關係。
隨後，訪問團一行前往當地華校啟明學校，參與本會聯合「黃國棟丶林春鳳教育基金會」，加牙淵地區「點亮未來」助學方案受助生的修養講座，與當地學生及家長進行近距離交流，深入了解其學習與生活情況，勉勵學生積極向學、自立自強。
中午時分，許家璧常務理事設宴招待訪問團，午宴後，訪問團驅車南下，前往伊沙迷拉省郊亞鄢市（Cauayan, Isabela），途中參觀了圖毛伊尼市（Municipality of Tumauini）歷史名勝聖馬提亞斯教堂（Saint Matias Parish Church）。該教堂為十八世紀巴洛克紅磚建築，列為國家文化寶藏，並自二零零六年起納入聯合國教科文組織世界遺產預備名單。
抵達郊亞鄢市後，巡訪團前往伊沙迷拉第六區眾議員暨新任眾議長李武志閣下( Hon. Faustino “Bonjie” Dy III)府邸禮訪。李議長親切接見，並對本會多年來在伊沙迷拉省當地同仁和商會的全力配合下，執行了多項服務社會方案，包括在貧瘠地區安裝愛心水井；「點亮未來」助學方案，讓清貧優秀學生有了接受高等教育的機會；捐贈公立小學智能電視及電腦室；獨立節捐贈當地市府國旗；雨季向各描籠涯及學校噴灑高效滅蚊劑，預防登革熱等公益方案，表示高度肯定與支持。理事長黃書瑋亦代表本會誠摯表達祝賀及感謝，並盛情邀請李議長出席本會於二零二六年二月十一至十二日假馬尼拉大酒店（Manila Hotel）舉行的「第十四次全國會員大會」，以促進更多合作與交流。
