On 08 August 2025, the Metro Manila delegation of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI), led by President Samuel Lee Uy, arrived in the vibrant city of Legazpi, Bicol Province. That evening, the group held a discussion and networking session with local business leaders and representatives at the Marison Legaspi Hotel’s multi-purpose hall, where they were staying. The event was marked by lively conversations and dynamic exchanges, showcasing the spirit of collaboration and engagement.

In his welcome remarks, President Samuel Lee Uy emphasized the strong economic momentum of the Bicol Region, highlighting its diversified growth in sectors such as tourism, retail, logistics, manufacturing, and processing. He acknowledged the vital role of local Chinese entrepreneurs in fostering industrial development, generating employment, and advancing regional progress. Their unwavering commitment to business integrity and social responsibility, he noted, continues to make a lasting impact.

President Uy particularly commended the younger generation of entrepreneurs for embracing innovation and leveraging digital tools to boost competitiveness. He reaffirmed CFBCI’s pledge to support MSMEs through digital transformation, entrepreneurial assistance, and policy advocacy. He also extended an invitation to all attendees to join the CFBCI 14th Biennial National Convention, scheduled for February 11–12, 2026, at The Manila Hotel. This major event will serve as a platform to review the organization’s achievements over the past two years and outline its strategic roadmap for future growth.

Representing the CFBCI Bicol Chapter, Vice President Antonio Tan introduced local colleagues and chamber leaders present at the gathering, and shared updates on initiatives recently implemented in the region. Executive Vice President Gerald Uy Chan further discussed the association’s key operational guidelines for the upcoming term.

The forum was hosted by Chinese Secretary Ellen Chong and English Secretary Mex Bausa, who introduced the delegation members and presented CFBCI’s flagship projects, including its various social welfare programs. The program also featured vibrant cultural performances by students of Tabaco Pei Ching School. Their impressive presentations were met with enthusiastic applause, adding energy and excitement to the event.

Tabaco Pei Ching School, a prominent Chinese educational institution in Tabaco City, boasts a proud 105-year history. With its spacious campus and well-equipped facilities, the school remains steadfast in its mission to provide quality education and nurture future leaders. Its rich academic tradition and strong educational heritage have produced countless outstanding graduates who have become valuable contributors to both the overseas Chinese community and Philippine society, exemplifying excellence in character and intellect.

菲華工商總會訊：本會第十四屆外埠巡迴訪問團首站，由理事長黃書瑋親率，成員包括執行副理事長曾國強，董事洪香泉偕夫人吳玉英、常務理事王輝益與顏漢龍、理事呂偉利，同仁楊金豐、中文秘書蔡艷霞、西文秘書梅西卡、聯絡吳宛盈及秘書處外勤 Jan Lloyd Villanueva 等一行，於八月八日（星期五），上午抵達風光秀麗的美骨區黎牙實備市。

當晚六時，本會巡訪團在下榻的酒店Marison Legaspi Hotel多功能廳與美骨區同仁和商界代表，進行座談聯誼，現場氣氛熱烈、交流熱絡，充分展現「有聲有色」的互動成效。

本會理事長黃書瑋致歡迎詞表示，美骨地區經濟動能持續強勁，在觀光、零售、物流、製造加工等領域均展現多元成長，而本地華商在推動產業、創造就業、促進區域發展方面貢獻良多，體現了華人一貫的誠信經營與社會責任。他並特別肯定年輕一代華商勇於導入創新科技與數位工具，提升企業競爭力，並承諾本會將持續透過數位轉型、創業支持與政策倡議，助力中小企業迎接新經濟挑戰。

黃理事長並邀請與會者踴躍參加本會將於二零二六年二月十一至十二日假馬尼拉大酒店舉行的「第十四次全國會員大會」，共同檢視本會兩年來成果，並規劃未來發展藍圖。
本會美骨地區代表副理事長陳華民介紹出席的當地同仁及各商會領導，並報告本會在當地實施的各項方案。執行副理事長曾國強亦分享本會下一屆的各項執行方針。

座談會由中文秘書蔡艷霞及西文秘書梅西卡共同主持，介紹巡訪團成員，及闡述了本會推動的重點工作與社會服務計劃，並逐一記錄與會者建言，作為未來政策與服務優化的重要依據。會中，就菲律濱政局走向、華社發展契機與挑戰，以及社會服務推展等議題進行深入探討，收穫豐碩。
席間參插由亞眉淡描戈培青中學學生帶來的餘興節目表演，「健身操」、「藏族舞」、「扇舞」、「花鼓舞」及「現代舞」等舞蹈，並有手語演唱「感謝天感謝地」，和個人獨唱「小城故事」、「燒肉粽」等耳熟能詳的歌曲，精彩表演，贏得滿堂掌聲，活躍了整個會場的氛圍。淡描戈培青中學是當地著名的華校，至今已有一百零五年歷史，校園廣闊，設備齊全，該校始終秉持嚴謹治學與培育英才的使命，歷經歲月淬鍊而歷久彌新。校風淳厚，學脈悠長，不僅為僑社孕育無數優秀學子，更為社會培養具備品格與才能的棟樑之才。
