On 15 October 2025, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) convened its 21st Meeting of the 14th Plenary Council, followed by a celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, birthdays of October celebrants, and a ceremonial flag presentation for its upcoming delegation to Chengdu and Chongqing. The festivities highlighted CFBCI’s unity and camaraderie, with more than 100 officers and members, personnel, and families joining the banquet and traditional dice game.
At 6:00 p.m., CFBCI held its monthly plenary council meeting to review the progress of ongoing organization matters. Immediately afterward, President Emeritus Peter Yu joined the flag presentation ceremony for the Chengdu–Chongqing Delegation, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in cultural exchange.
The delegation will be led by President Samuel Lee Uy and will travel from October 30 to November 3, 2025 accompanied by Executive Vice President Gerald Uy Chan, Vice Chairman Herman Chong, Vice Chairman Stella Lim, Vice Chairman Jack Wong, Vice Chairman Rosendo So, Mrs. Julie So, Plenary Member Willy Zapata, Members Jac Fritzgerald Wong, Juslyn So, Brithalyn So, and scholar Andrea Arguelles who graduated summa cum laude. The delegation also includes Secretariat personnel Judith Tan and Mex Bausa.
President Samuel Lee Uy extended warm Mid-Autumn Festival greetings to all members and their families, thanking everyone for their participation despite busy schedules. He wished the entire Federation success, prosperity, and smooth endeavors in the coming year. The celebration featured vibrant performances by students from the HSK Chinese Learning Center, led by Teacher Liu Bin. The lineup included choir numbers, dances, taekwondo demonstrations, and violin performances—each earning enthusiastic applause and energizing the crowd.
The traditional Mid-Autumn Fortune-Telling (Bo Bing) dice game—an important cultural custom among the Filipino-Chinese community—was a major highlight of the evening. After a delightful banquet, Chinese Secretary Cai Yanxia led the birthday celebration for October celebrants, followed by instructions for the dice game. Participants were grouped into eight tables, ready to test their luck and skill. Laughter and cheers filled the hall as dice rolled and winners emerged from each table, creating a truly joyful experience.
To conclude the night, attendees received a box of premium mooncakes symbolizing reunion and good fortune, while Vice Chairman Lin Tiande generously provided W.L. Foods products as special tokens. Filled with warmth, laughter, and festive spirit, the gathering came to a memorable close—leaving participants excited for the next reunion and steadfast in their shared commitment to camaraderie, cultural heritage, and community service.
菲華工商總會訊：本會於十月十五日（星期三）下午，假本會八樓禮堂舉辦第十四屆理事會第廿一次會議，並舉辦中秋聯歡晚會，同時為十月份壽星領導同仁慶生，以及為即將啟程前往成都—重慶參訪團進行授旗儀式，活動內容豐富，氣氛熱烈溫馨，展現本會團結一心、共度佳節的深厚情誼。本會理事長黃書瑋，榮譽理事長楊彼得，執行副理事長曾國強，副理事長楊良田、蔡金東、林天德、陳華民，董事曾煥眉、黃偉利、柯仁義，及立案秘書吳恆利等出席慶典，與同仁和家屬，共一百多人歡聚一堂，聚餐博骰，氣氛熱鬧，共同慶祝象徵著歡樂團圓的中秋佳節。
當日下午六時準時召開十月份的常務理事及理事聯席會議，討論各項會務進展，會議結束後，由創會會長楊彼得榮譽理事長親自主持本會成都—重慶參訪團授旗儀式，象徵使命承擔與文化交流的啟航；參訪團將由理事長黃書瑋親自率領，於十月三十日至十一月三日啟程前往成都—重慶旅遊，其他成員包括：執行副理事長曾國強，常務理事莊漢香、王輝益、施惠萍，理事呂偉利、王志鑫，和今年以最高榮譽畢業於馬尼拉市立大學的受助生Andrea Nicole Arguelles，及秘書處聯絡吳宛盈及西文秘書梅西卡等人。
黃書瑋理事長於致詞中向所有出席同仁及眷屬致上最誠摯的中秋祝福，感謝大家在百忙之中踴躍參與，使得中秋聯歡晚會洋溢喜慶氛圍。他並祝福大家博出好運，中狀元，一整年運勢旺盛、事事順心。
晚會有HSK中文學習中心的劉斌老師率領學員帶來精彩表演，包括合唱、舞蹈、跆拳道及小提琴演奏等，節目豐富多元，博得滿堂掌聲，為晚會掀起熱潮。
「博中秋」乃閩南地區特有的中秋傳統民俗，也深植於菲華社會之中，幾成家家戶戶、社團機構必備的中秋節目。同仁們在享用過豐盛晚餐後，便由中文秘書蔡艷霞主持，邀請所有本會十月份壽星到台前，一起為他們唱生日歌吹蠟燭，並且給予最真誠的祝福；接著講解擲骰子的遊戲規則，大家依各自拿到的號碼分成八桌開始博中秋。
骰子聲響此起彼落，伴隨著陣陣歡呼與笑聲，同仁們熱情參與，氣氛熱絡非凡。隨著一輪又一輪的投擲，各桌「狀元」得主終於出爐，現場洋溢著無比喜悅與節日歡騰。
活動尾聲，本會特別為每位出席同仁準備一盒精美月餅，象徵團圓與甜蜜。此外，副理事長林天德也將自家公司W.L.食品公司產品作為伴手禮，為聯歡會畫下完美句點。
本會中秋聯歡晚會在溫馨熱鬧、充滿歡笑與祝福中圓滿落幕。全體與會成員皆滿載而歸，並紛紛表示期待來年再度團聚，共享這份濃濃的節日情懷與社會責任的延續。
