On 11 April 2024 (Thursday), the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) visited the Battalion Headquarters of the National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) at Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City for the official turnover ceremony of wheelchairs for NCRPO RMFB’s project titled, 6P’s Pahandog ni Datu which aims to distribute assistance to the poorest of the poor. The ceremony was held at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at the NCRPO RMFB Multi-Purpose Hall and was attended by at least 250 policemen.
CFBCI was represented by President Samuel Lee Uy, Vice President Vicente Co, Director Willy Chion Wong, Vice Chairman Henry Junior Tiu, Vice Chairman Eduardo Ting Tiu, Vice Chairman Bruce Uy, Plenary Member Ramon Wong, Member Direck Uy, and Public Affairs Officer Mex Bausa. On behalf of NCRPO RMFB, the turnover was attended by PCOL Mario P. Malana, Force Commander, RMFB; PMAJ Mark Ronan B. Balmaceda, Deputy Force Commander, RMFB; PMAJ Edgardo S. Tigbao, Chief, BCAS; and Dr. Morena Cañizares, Chairman, BAGPTD.
The ceremony began with the welcoming remarks of PMAJ Balmaceda expressing the immense gratitude of the Battalion for the donation. He humbly stated that the Battalion is deeply honored to act as a ‘facilitator of kindness’ that will benefit those in need. Afterwards, a well-prepared audio-visual presentation was shown on the huge screen to display the interviews of the previous recipients of wheelchairs.
One of the recipients expressed his deepest gratitude to CFBCI for its generosity which made a positive impact in their lives. At present, the NCRPO RMFB has distributed a total of 196 wheelchairs in collaboration with non-government organizations like CFBCI. Then, the official turnover of wheelchairs was held on stage where CFBCI members were invited to participate.
In his speech, President Uy invited the attendees of the ceremony to continue promoting peace and harmony in our country. He encouraged everyone to always respond with gentleness and understanding when faced with criticism and challenges. He assured the Battalion that CFBCI will be always in support of its initiatives in ensuring that crime and disorder will not prevail in our communities. “We are now officially partners-in-peace,” said President Uy and the Battalion responded with a resounding applause.
PCOL Malana, Force Commander of the Battalion, also gave a heartwarming speech highlighting the power of generosity to transform the lives of the poor for the better. To him, simple acts such as donating wheelchairs for the differently-abled people can inspire ripples of change. He expressed his sincerest gratitude and appreciation towards CFBCI. CFBCI members received special tokens and a certificate from NCRPO RMFB and the atmosphere of the ceremony was warm and lively. The ceremony successfully ended at 3 P.M. and the two parties enjoyed delicious refreshments and snacks.

Malana上校,副隊長Mark Ronan B. Balmaceda少校,警察轉型及發展顧問團主席Morena Cañizares博士,社區關係處處長Edgardo S. Tigbao少校等人的熱情歡迎,現場有超過二百五十位現役警員出席見證移交儀式。
在捐贈儀式上,由副隊長Balmaceda少校致歡迎詞,隨後,會場播放主辦單位錄製的歷屆愛心輪椅受惠者的訪談影片;國警首都區機動行動隊長期與本會及其它公益團體合作,該「6P’s Pahandog ni Datu」福利方案,目前已送出近二百輛愛心輪椅,受惠者均為社區有需要的弱勢族群。影片中一位受惠者對本會慷慨解囊表示最誠摯的謝意,並指出該愛心輪椅改善了他和其家人的生活。
理事長黃書瑋致詞時感謝所有與會警務人員為國家的和平及和諧付出的努力,在遇到批評或挑戰時,能以心平氣和的態度來面對;承諾本會將一如既往地支援國家首都地區機動隊的各項福利措施,成為維護社會治安的合作夥伴。
隊長Malana上校致詞時對本會的善心義舉,以及歷年來對國警首都區員警部隊所給予的大力支持表示感謝。最後機動隊隊長Mario P. Malana上校頒發感謝狀及紀念品給本會出席移交儀式的每位領導同仁。
