On 09 June 2025, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) donated Philippine flags to the City of Malabon in celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day. CFBCI is deeply honored to be received by Mayor Jeannie Ng Sandoval, who has been a consistent partner of the organization in fostering positive change for many years. Vice President Vicente Co, Vice Chairman Eduardo Tiu, Plenary Member Sheryl Tiu, and Plenary Member Cary Chua attended the official turnover of the 100 brand new Philippine flags.
In a conversation with CFBCI officers and members, Mayor Sandoval emphasized the significance of placing the Philippine flag in appropriate spaces, especially, in celebration of the National Independence Day. This reminds the people of the sacrifices made by our forefathers in defending our motherland, and stands as a symbol of our nationalism and pride as Filipinos.
Moreover, Mayor Sandoval highlighted the great importance of education in changing the lives of people. In turn, CFBCI officers and members proudly shared with the Mayor that the CFBCI Pagharap sa Pangarap College Scholarship Program has also been catering to the educational needs of selected students from Malabon City. Mayor Sandoval then thanked the organization for its continuous support to the younger generation who aspires to overcome poverty and succeed for their families.
In the course of the turnover, the two parties discussed future collaborations in the pursuit of uplifting the lives of their kababayans and helping the Philippine economy by empowering local entrepreneurs and the youth. A photo opportunity was held to conclude this special meeting.
菲華工商總會訊：為迎接菲律濱第一百廿七週年獨立節，弘揚愛國精神，本會秉承歷年來的優良傳統，加強全國市民愛國精神，贈送大岷區及外省地區各政府機關嶄新菲律濱國旗。六月九日（星期一）下午，本會副理事長許長泰偕同常務理事林文龍及理事佘玲玲、梁培江及嗎拉汶商會副理事長劉家寶等人，專程前往馬拉汶市政府，向華裔女市長黃玉絲（Mayor Jeannie Ng Sandoval）贈送百面嶄新國旗，冀望在國慶期間，於市府廣場、學校、醫院及各政府辦公場所懸掛國旗，營造莊嚴熱烈的節慶氛圍，激發國人愛國情操。
黃玉絲市長熱情接待本會領導同仁，並於市長辦公室與大家親切座談。黃市長表示，此次國旗贈送正值獨立節前夕，別具意義，不僅體現本會愛國之心，也進一步強化社會愛國氛圍，為市民與莘莘學子樹立良好典範。同時高度肯定本會長期致力公益事業，對教育與弱勢族群的持續關懷。特別是本會推動的「點亮未來」受助生助學方案，有效減輕清寒學生經濟壓力，讓他們得以安心求學，翻轉人生，意義非凡。
副理事長許長泰表示，本會歷來關心國家社會發展，支持政府施政，未來將持續與市府保持緊密聯繫，擴展慈善、教育與社會服務領域合作，致力為社區帶來更多溫暖與希望。他強調，國旗是國家榮耀象徵，期盼透過本次捐贈行動，鼓勵市民與學子珍惜國家獨立自由，弘揚愛國情懷。座談期間，雙方就未來公益合作、教育推廣及社會關懷等議題交換意見，共同期待未來攜手舉辦更多愛國及公益活動，為建設更加美好的社會貢獻力量。活動最後，雙方合影留念，氣氛熱絡溫馨。
