On October 29, 2023, at noon, officers and members of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) were invited to attend the first inauguration ceremony of the Philippine Jinjiang General Association. The event was held at the Manila Hotel to celebrate the establishment of the association and the inauguration of its first Board of Directors and Officers.
Several CFBCI officers and members assumed important positions in this organization: Vice Chairman Alvin Tiu was honored to be the first president, Vice President Henry Lo Lim will serve as the executive vice president, and Vice Chairman George Go, Dennis Letran, and Daniel Zhu were elected as vice presidents. Representatives of various organizations in the Filipino-Chinese community came to celebrate the event.
Mr. Gerald Chan, Vice President of the CFBCI Board of Directors, was seated at the Presidential table. CFBCI Honorary President Allan Wong But Loy, Vice President Paul Yeung, Director Jimmy Uy; Vice Chairmen Jimmy Ang, Eduardo Aga Tiu, and Richard Yao; Plenary Members Jack Wong, and Romeo Uy; Members Justin Ang, Kervin Ong, Carry Chua, and Secretary Ellen Chong also attended the ceremony.
The CFBCI “Pagharap sa Pangarap College Scholarship Program" Chorale was invited to sing two Chinese songs, “Zhen Xin Ying Xiong" (The Sincere Hero) and “Da Zhong Guo" (The Great China), at the ceremony. The 28-member chorale sang magnificent songs with perfect Chinese pronunciation and beautiful harmonies, which received warm applause from the audience, and was praised by the attendees.
Our colleagues expressed their warm congratulations to the new leaders of the Philippine Jinjiang General Association. They also wished that under the leadership of President Alvin Tiu and the joint efforts of all members, the association would make further progress and reach new horizons.
菲華工商總會訊：本會領導於十月廿九日（星期日）中午，應邀出席菲律濱晉江市池店鎮聯鄉總會假馬尼拉大酒店隆重舉行慶祝成立暨首屆理監事洎婦女組、青年組職員就職典禮。本會多位領導在該會擔任要職：常務理事朱海庭榮膺首屆會長，副理事長林天德擔任執行副會長，常務理事吳金帛、李炳南、朱肖華獲選為副會長。就職慶典由菲律濱晉江同鄉總會名譽理事長李國材為首屆職員監誓授印並訓誨；李榮郇任主講人；朱海庭會長為婦女組監誓；林天德執行副會長為青年組監誓。當天嘉賓雲集，各慶賀團代表，華社友好社團領導人等蒞會致賀，場面熱鬧非凡，盛況空前。
本會副理事長曾國強代表於主賓席就坐，本會應邀隨同出席慶典的領導同仁還有榮譽理事長黃拔來，副理事長楊良田，董事黃子文，常務理事洪海濱、林文龍、姚慶祕，理事王輝益、顏漢龍，同仁洪瑞鴻、許啟敏、梁清江，秘書蔡艷霞。本會「點亮未來」受助生合唱團成員受邀於慶典上演唱兩首華語歌曲「真心英雄」和「大中國」，廿八位菲律濱人，用字正腔圓的中文發音和優美的和聲，唱出氣勢磅礡的歌曲，獲得全場熱烈的掌聲，與會者紛紛點贊表揚。
本會出席同仁向菲律濱晉江市池店鎮聯鄉總會新屆領導，表示熱烈祝賀。並祝願該會，今後在朱海庭會長的領導下，在全體會員的共同努力下，會務定會百尺杆頭，更進一步，再創新輝煌。
