On 30 May 2025, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) witnessed the ribbon-cutting ceremony and unveiling of the photo exhibition, organized by Kaisa Para sa Kaunlaran Inc. and other organizations, in celebration of the “50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations Between the Republic of the Philippines and People's Republic of China."
The exhibit focused on the theme, “Fifty Years of Golden Ties, A New Chapter of Mutual Trust,” and was held at Kaisa-Angelo King Heritage Center in Intramuros, Manila. On behalf of CFBCI, Vice President Antonio Tan, Corporate Secretary Henry Go, Vice Chairman Peter Chua, and Plenary Member Ramon Wong attended the launch of the exhibit, demonstrating CFBCI’s unwavering commitment in promoting the friendship between the two countries.
Esteemed individuals including His Excellency Huang Xilian delivered warm messages to the attendees, highlighting the rich culture and history between the Philippines and China, as well as the fruits of its fifty years of diplomatic relations. After the speeches, the officiating guests jointly held a ribbon-cutting and unveiling ceremony for the photo exhibition. The exhibition featured 67 historical photographs and illustrations covering four themes: ancient trade, diplomacy, civil interaction, and the contributions of ethnic Chinese to nation building.
Afterwards, the Ambassador presided over the launch of the first Filipino-Chinese museum in the Philippines to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) in providing educational tours to its guests. In addition, the newly renovated “Filipino-Chinese and Nation Building Gallery” on the third floor of the museum was also reopened on the same day, showcasing the valuable stories of Filipino-Chinese who have actively participated in the development of the country in different fields. In the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the gallery, guests interacted with each other, reminiscing about their family history and sharing stories of their generations.
The friendship between the Philippines and China has a long history, and the Chinese community has contributed a lot to the economic and social development of the Philippines. We look forward to deepening the cooperation between the Philippines and China and fostering more positive changes in the future.
菲華工商總會訊：由華裔文化傳統中心、菲律濱華裔青年聯合會、菲中友好協會及菲華歷史博物館聯合主辦，慶祝菲中建交五十週年圖片展暨菲中友誼日，於五月三十日（星期五）下午，假馬尼拉市王城區華裔文化傳統中心隆重舉行，主題為「金色紐帶五十年，百年互信創新篇」。本會副理事長陳華民偕同立案秘書吳恆利、常務理事蔡清景及理事王明雄應邀代表本會出席慶典活動，展現本會對菲中友好交流及文化合作的重視與支持。當日菲中兩國政要、僑領與社會各界代表齊聚一堂，共同見證菲中建交五十載的重要歷史時刻，場面熱烈，意義非凡。
華裔文化傳統基金會會長鄭朝暉、菲中友好協會會長施碧波、候任外交部長Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro及中國駐菲大使黃溪連，分別發表熱情洋溢講話，共同回顧菲中數百年交流史與建交五十年的外交成果，並展望兩國未來深化合作的新契機。
貴賓致詞後，由主禮嘉賓共同為圖片展舉行剪綵揭幕儀式。該展覽共展出珍貴歷史照片與插圖計六十七幅，涵蓋遠古貿易、外交歷程、民間互動及華裔對國家建設貢獻等四大主題，內容豐富生動，極具歷史價值。
隨後，中國駐菲大使黃溪連主持智能講解設備啟動儀式，該導覽系統由中國駐菲大使館及熱心僑領陳宏峰先生共同捐贈，為菲華歷史博物館注入智慧科技，開創全菲首間導入NFC智能導覽系統的博物館，讓與會賓客現場體驗沉浸式導覽新模式。
此外，館內三樓全新改裝的「華裔菲人與國家建設展廊」亦於當日同步重新開放，展示華裔菲人在不同領域積極參與國家發展的珍貴事跡。現場氣氛溫馨，來賓們互動交流，回顧家族歷史、分享世代故事，為菲中友誼添增更多動人篇章。
菲中兩國友誼源遠流長，華裔社群在菲國經濟與社會發展中貢獻良多，期盼未來菲中雙方持續深化合作，共創新局；本會將一如既往，積極參與兩國各項文化、經貿及社會公益交流活動，為促進菲中友誼盡一份心力。
