On 26 September 2024, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) led by President Samuel Lee Uy attended the 75th Founding Anniversary Celebration of People's Republic of China (PRC), organized by the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, at the BGC Shangri-La Hotel. The banquet was graced with the attendance of prominent dignitaries including His Excellency Huang Xilian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China in the Philippines; Hon. Liza Marcos, First Lady of the Philippines, and Hon. Francis “Chiz” Escudero, President of the Senate of the Philippines. Other government officials sent their congratulatory messages including Vice President Sara Duterte.

Nearly 1,000 people, including heads of relevant agencies of the Philippine government, leaders of major Filipino-Chinese organizations, ambassadors of various countries to the Philippines, representatives of international organizations, foreign teachers, international students, and members of the media were also present at the event to welcome the 75th Founding Anniversary of PRC.

In his speech, Ambassador Huang Xilian said that in the past seventy-five years, the Communist Party of China has united and led the people of all ethnic groups in the country out of extreme poverty. Today, China has become the second largest economy in the world and an important engine and stabilizing force in world economic growth. He also said that the year 2025 will mark the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Philippines. Over the past 50 years, the people of China and the Philippines have been close to each other, their bloodlines have blended, and cooperation in various fields has borne fruits. It is in the common wish and fundamental interest of the 1.5 billion people of the two countries that China and the Philippines live in harmony, friendship and cooperation and seek common development.

The reception featured an exhibition of photographs on the theme of “Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China”, booths of Chinese culture and traditions, and artistic performances featuring Chinese nationalities. The banquet was successful in commemorating the esteemed event and everyone had a wonderful experience. As an organization, CFBCI extends its warmest greetings and unwavering support in further strengthening the friendship between the Philippines and China.

菲華工商總會訊 ：本會理事長黃書瑋，副理事長林天德、施茵茵，董事杜祖蔭、鄭奕偉，於九月廿六日（星期四）下午七時，代表本會受邀出席中國駐菲律濱大使館假達義市博尼法西奧環球城香格里拉大酒店，舉辦慶祝中華人民共和國成立七十五週年招待會。中國駐菲律濱特命全權大使黃溪連、菲律濱第一夫人麗莎‧馬可斯、菲參議長弗朗西斯‧伊斯庫地洛出席，菲副總統莎拉‧杜特地、副外長拉‧扎羅發來祝賀視訊。菲政府相關部門負責人，華社主要社團領袖和社會各界友好人士，各國駐菲使節，國際組織代表和駐菲中資機構，外派教師，留學生，媒體人員近千人出席，場面隆重盛大，共同喜迎新中國七十五週年華誕。

黃溪連大使在晚會上致詞說：七十五年來，中國共產黨團結帶領全國各族人民從積貧積弱邁向繁榮富強，取得輝煌成就。中國穩居世界第二大經濟體地位，成為世界經濟成長的重要引擎與穩定力量。黃溪連大使也表示，二零二五年將迎來中菲建交五十週年。五十年來，中菲兩國人民民心相親，血脈相融，各領域合作結出碩碩果實。中菲和睦相處、友好合作、共謀發展，符合兩國十五億人民的共同願望和根本利益。歷史表明，中菲關係雖然經歷波折起伏，但總是保持向前發展態勢。歷史也表明，當雙方能夠妥善處理和控制分歧時，中菲合作之路就越走越寬。讓我們重溫五十年前兩國領導人的建交初心、胸懷兩國人民福祉、牢記兩國根本利益，共同排除干擾，堅持中菲友好合作大方向，塑造共同繁榮和持久和平。

招待會現場展出了「慶祝中華人民共和國成立七十五周年」主題圖片展，並設置了中國文化和企業展台，並表演了具中華民族特色的文藝節目，彰顯中菲在文化及人民之間的緊密交流。與會嘉賓同歡共慶中華人民共和國成立七十五週年，並期待中菲關係行穩致遠，造福兩國和世界人民；祝賀中國繁榮富強，國泰民安。
