CFBCI holds its Biennial Convention every two years, in which the organization looks back on its part achievements, looking forward to the future, at the same time elect and induct new batch of officers. Keynote speakers for the previous Biennial Conventions include then Presidents Fidel V. Ramos, Joseph Ejercito Estrada, Gloria M. Arroyo and Benigno Aquino III; then Vice Presidents Teofisto Guingona Jr. and Jejomar C. Binay, and current Vice President Maria Leonor G. Robredo; then Central Bank Governor Amando M. Tetangco Jr., as well as high-ranking government officials of the Philippines.

CFBCI has been sending delegates to attend the ASEAN Chinese Businessmen Forum and World Summit of Chinese Entrepreneurs to strengthen the ties among Chinese businessmen in all parts of the world. CFBCI has been invited by China related organizations and groups to grace various events such as business for a, trade exhibits, interactions, etc. Apart from foreign delegations, CFBCI also visits its members in the provinces and engage in meetings to understand the relationship between the local Chinese people and the local government units in terms of education, trade and commerce.
