On 14 March 2026, Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) President Gerald Uy Chan, together with members of the Young Entrepreneurs Committee (YEC) under the guidance of Vice President William Rogando, participated in the “Taipan Youth Summit 2026: Where Young Minds Take Shape!” held at SM Podium, Mandaluyong City, organized by CHiNOY TV and Rotaract Club of Chinatown Manila.
The summit featured Kevin Tan, President and CEO of Alliance Global Group, as the keynote speaker, where he shared valuable perspectives on entrepreneurship and leadership. The event also gathered a distinguished lineup of accomplished entrepreneurs who served as panelists across three dynamic open discussion sessions, offering insights, real-world experiences, and practical advice to aspiring young business leaders. The sessions were expertly moderated by renowned journalist Gretchen Ho, whose facilitation helped drive engaging and meaningful conversations throughout the summit.
One of the key initiatives championed by the CFBCI YEC is active participation in premier business conferences that cultivate and inspire the next generation of Chinese-Filipino leaders. Through its role as an Association Partner of the Taipan Youth Summit, the CFBCI YEC continues to advance its mandate of equipping young entrepreneurs with practical insights, strategic guidance, and meaningful inspiration drawn from both seasoned industry leaders and emerging innovators empowering them to confidently shape their own paths to success.
In his keynote address, President Kevin Tan delivered valuable perspectives for aspiring entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of embracing calculated risks and maintaining a resilient mindset. He underscored that crises should not be viewed solely as obstacles, but also as opportunities for growth and innovation. As he aptly noted, “Crisis does not only bring challenges; sometimes it reveals opportunities. The insight for entrepreneurs is simple: always look at the bright side.” In today’s dynamic business landscape, where venturing into the unknown can be daunting, such courage and optimism can often lead to transformative outcomes and remarkable success.
In the Family Business Forum, Eduardo Luy (MASCORP), Bryan T. Liu (GOLDEN ABC, Inc.), and Mark Tiu Lim (Mega Group) shared perspectives on 1. managing family enterprises, sustaining legacy, and leading with purpose. Meanwhile, in the Start-up Forum, Steve Sy (Great Deals E-Commerce Corp.), Happee Sy (PULP Live World), and Frank Gaw (Kangkong King) discussed their 2. entrepreneurial journeys, emphasizing resilience, adaptability, and the value of taking calculated risks.
In the Creative Industries Forum, Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez (Happy Skin and BLK Cosmetics PH), Thunderson Tan (Lannang Language and Culture Center), and Robyn See (Five Story Ventures) highlighted the 3. role of innovation and creativity in building meaningful and impactful brands, offering insights into navigating today’s evolving business landscape.
Throughout the three engaging panel discussions, CFBCI YEC officers and members remained highly attentive, actively taking notes and reflecting on key learnings that can be applied to their respective business endeavors. Overall, the summit proved to be a productive and enriching experience, leaving participants with renewed motivation, actionable insights, and a deeper appreciation for the entrepreneurial journey.
菲華工商總會訊：本會理事長曾國強、副理事長兼青年企業委員會（以下簡稱青委會）督導杜祖蔭、董事兼青委會主任施惠萍，率領青委會核心成員副主任黃愛儀、姚寶珍，會員許煒楠、許美安、周清杰，西文秘書梅西卡等人，於二零二六年三月十四日（星期六）下午，赴曼達盧永市 SM Podium，出席由菲華電視台（CHiNOY TV）與馬尼拉華人區扶青社（Rotaract Club of Chinatown Manila）聯合主辦的「二零二六年大班青年峰會：塑造年輕思想的地方」（Taipan Youth Summit 2026：Where Young Minds Take Shape）。
活動現場匯聚多位商界領袖與青年菁英，針對創業精神與領導力的未來趨勢展開深度交流。本會作為合作夥伴，除慷慨贊助活動外，更積極帶領青委會成員參與，以實際行動實踐本會培育新生代華商領袖、傳承商道精神之宗旨。
峰會的亮點之一，莫過於安德集團（Alliance Global Group）總裁兼首席執行長吳克文（Kevin Tan）的主旨演講。他精闢指出，企業家必須具備承擔「經審慎評估風險」的勇氣，並始終保持堅韌不拔的意志。吳克文特別強調：「危機不僅是挑戰，更是機遇的溫床；企業家應鍛鍊從困境中預見曙光的洞察力。精確評估風險並建立強大的連結，是青年創業家在變局中突圍的不二法門。」這番充滿前瞻性的言論，深深共鳴了在場的新生代領袖。

「創業論壇：創立自己的事業 (Startups: Launching Your Own Venture)，分享品牌建立、數位應變與韌性。由 Great Deals E-Commerce Corp. 創辦人兼執行長 Steve Sy、PULP Live World 執行長 Happee Sy 及 Kangkong King 創辦人 Frank Gaw 擔綱主講。暢談創業歷程，強調靈活應變與勇於嘗試的重要性。
