The 14th Biennial National Convention and Induction Ceremony of the 15th Board of Directors and Plenary Council of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI), themed “Fostering Innovation, Building Tomorrow,” was grandly held on February 11–12, 2026 at The Manila Hotel, Ermita, Manila.

With the strong support of political and business leaders, as well as major Chinese-Filipino community organizations, the two-day Convention achieved resounding success. The event reflected CFBCI’s enduring commitment to solidarity, innovation, and collective progress within the Chinoy community.

The convention was honored by the presence of Hon. Faustino Dy III, Speaker of the House of Representatives, who delivered the keynote address. Also in attendance were Manila Vice Mayor Angela Lei Ilagan Atienza and Dr. Jaime C. Laya, Chairman of the Board of Philippine Trust Bank.

Representing the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Philippines were Counselor Zheng Junli, Director Wang Minhao, and Consul Zhou Xinliang. Numerous cabinet members, legislators, diplomats, local officials, and leaders of business chambers and civic organizations likewise attended or conveyed their congratulatory messages.

Sincere appreciation is extended to Philtrust Bank and The Manila Hotel for their gracious hospitality, as well as to the event’s generous corporate sponsors, including Philippine Business Bank, BDO Unibank, Inc., Journeytech Inc., Filinvest Land, Inc., and Arthaland Corporation. Their invaluable support contributed greatly to the success and prestige of the occasion. During the opening ceremony on February 11, plaques of appreciation were presented to House Speaker Dy, Manila Hotel Chairman Yap, and all bank and corporate partners in recognition of their support.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Vice Chairman Atty. Kesterson T. Kua, with Vice President (former Director) William Rogando leading the invocation. Immediate Past President Samuel Lee Uy delivered a comprehensive report highlighting the Association’s accomplishments over the past two years, particularly in advancing development initiatives, strengthening Filipino-Chinese friendship, and supporting youth empowerment programs.

President (former Executive Vice President) Gerald Uy Chan concluded the program with an inspiring closing address. Cultural performances by the Chiang Kai Shek College Dance Troupe, the St. Stephen’s High School Dance Troupe, and the CFBCI “Pagharap sa Pangarap” Scholarship Chorale added vibrancy and meaning to the celebration. As the Convention successfully concluded, CFBCI reaffirmed its founding mission: standing united at a new chapter, committed to innovation, collaboration, and building a brighter and more prosperous future for all.

菲華工商總會訊：本會以「推動創新，共建未來（Fostering Innovation, Building Tomorrow）」為主題的第十四次全國會員大會暨第十五屆董事會、理事會就職典禮，於二月十一日至十二日隆重舉行。在政商領袖及華社各大團體的鼎力支持下，大會圓滿成功，盛況空前，充分展現本會凝聚僑心、共創未來的堅實力量。

大會榮幸敦請眾議院議長李武志閣下（House Speaker Faustino “Bojie" G. Dy III）親臨擔任主講嘉賓，並恭請馬尼拉市副市長亞典莎（Vice Mayor Angela Lei “Chi" Ilagan Atienza–Valdepeñas）及菲律濱信託銀行董事會主席Jaime C. Laya博士蒞會致詞，承蒙中華人民共和國駐菲律濱大使館鄭君履參贊親自率領汪旼皓主任及周昕亮領事代表使館出席，為盛會增輝添彩。此外，多位國會議員、內閣部長、各省市首長、外國駐菲使節、商會代表及華社友好團體領導亦或親臨指導，或惠賜花籃賀詞，共襄盛舉。現場嘉賓雲集，氣氛隆重熱烈而溫馨感人，充分展現政商僑界團結合作之盛況。

本次盛會特別感謝菲律濱信託銀行（Philtrust Bank）及馬尼拉大旅社（Manila Hotel）盛情款待，並獲多家銀行、金融機構及企業鼎力贊助，包括菲律濱商業銀行（Philippine Business Bank）、金融銀行（Banco De Oro）、Journey Tech、Filinvest Land, Inc. 及 Arthaland Corporation (ALCO) ，共同促成本次活動更臻完善、倍添光彩。開幕晚宴上，本會特向李武志議長及馬尼拉大酒店董事長葉謀隆，以及各主要贊助單位頒發感謝盾牌，以表誠摯謝意。

開幕典禮由本會常務理事柯偉順律師擔任司儀，副理事長（時任董事）杜祖蔭帶領祝禱，名譽理事長（時任理事長）黃書瑋就過去兩年各項會務方案與成果作詳盡報告，回顧本會在促進各項發展、深化菲中合作及培育青年人才等方面所取得的積極進展。理事長（時任執行副理事長）曾國強致謝詞。

文娛節目方面，中正學院舞蹈隊、聖公會中學舞蹈隊及由華社著名音樂教師吳心慈女士精心指導的本會「點亮未來」合唱團傾情演出，精彩歌舞表演充分展現菲中多元文化交融之美，為大會增添歡樂與感動。

本次全國會員大會在各界賢達的支持及全體同仁的齊心努力下，圓滿落下帷幕，不僅展現了本會高度的凝聚力，更築牢了團結合作的基石。站在新的起點，本會將抱持初心，以創新思維連結工商社群，為推動社會繁榮貢獻心力，並期盼與社會各界並肩同行，共創長青基業與輝煌明天。
