On 17 February 2026, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI), led by President Gerald Uy Chan, proudly joined the 2026 Grand Lunar New Year Parade in Binondo, Manila, together with its officers, members, and scholars from the Pagharap sa Pangarap College Scholarship Program. Each year, CFBCI’s float is thoughtfully and intricately designed by its scholars, showcasing their creativity, talent, and heartfelt tribute to the rich and vibrant Chinoy culture.

The parade coincided with large-scale celebrations in Binondo, the world’s oldest Chinatown, where streets were filled with local and international tourists, creating a vibrant and jubilant atmosphere that reflected the strong festive spirit of the season.

The grand parade begand in front of the Manila Post Office, led by Hon. Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso, Mayor of Manila, and His Excellency Jing Quan, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of the Philippines, aboard the first float. They were followed by city officials and major Chinese community organizations, with dozens of elaborately designed floats proceeding through key areas in Binondo, including Jones Bridge, before culminating at Lucky Chinatown.

Accompanied by the resounding beats of drums and gongs and the dynamic performances of dragon and lion dances, participants extended New Year greetings and distributed ampaos and festive tokens, drawing enthusiastic applause from the crowds and highlighting the solidarity and vitality of the Chinese-Filipino community.

A highlight of the celebration was CFBCI’s float, conceptualized and decorated by scholars from its Pagharap sa Pangarap College Scholarship Program. Adorned with a vibrant horse motif symbolizing progress and a promising future, the float showcased the students’ creativity and teamwork, attracting widespread admiration from spectators.

Through sustained initiatives such as its scholarship program, CFBCI reaffirms its longstanding commitment to serving society and nurturing younger generations. In the spirit of the Year of the Fire Horse, CFBCI extends its warmest wishes for a joyful Lunar New Year, good health and happiness for all families, and continued success in every endeavor.

菲華工商總會訊：為共襄丙午馬年新春盛典，本會於二月十七日（星期二）下午二時，由本會理事長曾國強親自率領，偕同名譽理事長黃書瑋，執行副理事長楊良田、董事許福星、施惠萍，立案秘書吳恆利，常務理事林文龍、莊南文、留牡丹、葉啟龍，理事楊錦程、王明雄，同仁陳慧靜、葉坤立等同仁及逾百位「點亮未來」助學方案受助學生，參與由馬尼拉市政府聯同「菲中愛心基金」等成員單位共同舉辦之馬尼拉華人區春節花車巡遊活動。活動當日萬人空巷，海內外遊客慕名而來，華人區人潮湧動，數以百萬計民眾共襄盛舉，場面熱鬧非凡，洋溢濃厚節慶氛圍。

巡遊由菲律濱郵政總局大樓前隆重啟程，馬尼拉市市長莫雷諾與中國駐菲大使井泉大使閣下乘坐首輛花車領航，市府官員及華社主要團體隨後魚貫而行，數十輛花車浩蕩登場。在舞龍舞獅與鑼鼓喧天聲中，車隊沿途經過瓊斯大橋等華人區主要街道，終點於美加廣場圓滿落幕。沿途向市民賀歲拜年，派發紅包與節慶禮品，吸引大批民眾爭相參與，掌聲與歡呼聲此起彼落，充分展現華社活力與凝聚力。

本會花車由「點亮未來」助學方案受助生設計與佈置，以五彩繽紛的駿馬圖騰為主題，寓意奔騰奮進、前程似錦。學員們充分發揮創意與團隊合作精神，成果令人驚艷，吸引眾多市民駐足拍照留念，成為巡遊隊伍中的焦點之一。透過實際參與大型社區活動，不僅培養青年自信與創造力，更深化其對中華文化的認同與傳承使命。

本會長期秉持服務社會、培育英才之宗旨，透過「點亮未來」助學方案扶持清寒學子，助其追逐夢想、成就未來。此次參與春節巡遊，不僅為社區增添節慶光彩，更彰顯華社團結互助、攜手前行的精神。
