On 21 December 2025, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) successfully held its 2025 Wrapped in Bows: A Sweet Year-End Celebration, bringing together Pagharap sa Pangarap College Scholarship Program beneficiaries, alumni, officers, and benefactors for a festive gathering that marked the close of a year defined by growth, perseverance, and shared achievements. The event celebrated not only milestones reached but also the unity and support that continue to define the CFBCI family.

The program formally opened with an Opening Prayer led by John Elsisura of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, followed by the Philippine National Anthem. Hosts Joie Balasbas, a CFBCI scholar, and Karl Louis Calleja, a CFBCI alumnus, warmly welcomed the attendees and underscored the celebration as a collective reward for the scholars’ dedication throughout the year. A lively roll call of scholars from PUP, PLM, UDM, Batangas, and Combined Schools highlighted the diversity and solidarity within the organization.

Executive Vice President Gerald Uy Chan officially commenced the celebration with an inspiring message centered on gratitude, resilience, and continuous self-improvement, reaffirming CFBCI’s commitment to nurturing future leaders grounded in integrity and service. Holiday messages followed from Director Richard Alviar, Education Committee Vice Chairman Linda Lao, and Plenary Member Jefferson Cheng, whose words expressed pride in the scholars’ achievements. Adding warmth and humor to the program, the three leaders surprised the audience with a lively dance performance that drew cheers and laughter.

The celebration continued with audio-visual presentations and live performances from participating schools, showcasing the scholars’ talents beyond academics. Interactive games and multiple raffle draws further energized the crowd, with prizes generously donated by CFBCI benefactors. A Presentation of Tokens then allowed scholar representatives to formally express their gratitude to CFBCI officers for their guidance and support throughout the year.

One of the highlights of the event was the Mr. and Ms. CFBCI 2025 Pageant, where candidates showcased their confidence, advocacies, and values. Michelle Gumarang of the Philippine Normal University was crowned Ms. CFBCI 2025, while Jhon Chriz Seda of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines earned the title of Mr. CFBCI 2025. The program concluded with the presentation of Special Awards, including Best School Performance awarded to Universidad de Manila, along with recognitions for outstanding and most active scholars.

菲華工商總會訊：本會於二○二五年十二月二十一日（星期日）上午，為「點亮未來」助學方案受助生舉辦聖誕聯歡會，來自菲律濱理工大學、馬尼拉市立大學、馬尼拉大學及描東岸市大學等多所院校的受助生齊聚一堂，共同回顧一年來的學習成果與成長歷程，並在溫馨歡樂的節慶氛圍中迎接聖誕佳節。本會執行副理事長曾國強、文教委員會主任曾煥眉董事、副主任留牡丹、莊南文及理事張其安、呂偉利，常務顧問陳友民，外交委員會理事許純維，同仁楊金豐等親臨現場，與「點亮未來」學友會成員和受助生們，近兩百人一同歡慶，共享節日喜悅；活動內容豐富多元，現場氣氛熱烈。
聖誕聯歡會在莊嚴的祈禱及菲律濱國歌聲中拉開序幕，執行副理事長曾國強首先致詞勉勵受助生要心懷感恩、持續精進，他強調本會將持續培育具備品格、能力與服務精神的青年人才，為社會注入正向力量，並祝福大家有個喜樂平安的聖誕節。隨後，董事曾煥眉、常務理事留牡丹及理事張其安亦致上誠摯祝福，肯定學員們一年來的努力與成長，並鼓勵大家勇敢迎接未來的各項挑戰。
領導們致詞後，董事曾煥眉，常務理事留牡丹及理事張其安為全場帶來一場舞蹈表演，活力四射、動感十足，瞬間點燃現場氣氛，讓受助生們目不轉睛、歡聲笑語不斷，展現本會領導的親民風采與溫暖幽默的一面。
接著受助生們帶來多元精彩的才藝表演與影音回顧，展現學業之外的創意與自信；娛樂節目穿插大家矚目的摸彩活動，獎品豐富，有電器、禮品和紅包，整個聯歡會高潮迭起，歡聲笑語，愉快的氣氛充斥著整個場地。最後壓軸活動「二○二五年菲華工商總會先生、小姐」選拔賽，來自不同學校的八名男女候選人，身著「蕾絲服裝」，現場走秀，透過台風展示與即席問答，彰顯青年學子的自信、理念與責任感，獲得現場熱烈迴響。最終，來自菲律濱師範大學的Michelle Gumarang榮獲二○二五年菲華工商總會小姐，而菲律濱理工大學的Jhon Chriz Seda則獲得二○二五年菲華工商總會先生的殊榮。
藉此感謝本會多位領導同仁及學友會成員的鼎力支持與慷慨贊助摸彩獎品與獎金，讓所有受助生得以共享溫馨歡樂的節慶氛圍。贊助本次摸彩活動之領導同仁包括：榮譽理事長吳輝漢；常務理事留牡丹、侯逸蘭、莊南文；理事葉俊龍、佘玲玲、許純維、呂偉利；以及學友會成員 Eunice Entegro。同時感謝所有為這次聯歡活動付出的背後工作人員。
此外，執行副理事長曾國強、副理事長蔡金東、林天德及常務理事蔡俊雅，亦備有聖誕禮品贈予每位受助生，傳遞節日祝福與關懷。董事朱少華慷慨提供市面上廣受好評的 Joyice 冰淇淋，讓與會者一同品嘗節慶甜蜜。
中午時分，學員們開始享用豐盛的午餐，在散會之前，每位學員還收到了由本會領導同仁贈送的禮物，讓參加聯歡會的每一名學員都滿載而歸。
這場聖誕聯歡餐會，不僅為受助生們留下了深刻而溫馨的回憶，更讓這份教育扶助的初衷，在互動中傳遞深遠影響。本會將持續深耕『關懷、培育、傳承』之精神，攜手學員同行，點亮希望之光，共築美好未來。
