On 15 November 2025, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) Metro Manila Delegation arrived in Tarlac, marking the fourth leg of their regional business forum series. Led by President Samuel Lee Uy, the twelve-member delegation engaged with provincial members to gain deeper insights into regional industrial development. They also hosted a lunch business forum, reaffirming CFBCI’s commitment to strengthening exchanges and cooperation with the Chinese-Filipino business community of Central Luzon.
Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly welcomed by their provincial colleagues and fellow Chinoy businessmen. In his remarks, President Uy expressed his great honor in leading the delegation back to Tarlac for face-to-face discussions with their colleagues in Central Luzon.
He highlighted the significance of the region’s fertile land, industrious people, and vibrant economic environment, and commended local Chinese entrepreneurs for their longstanding commitment to public welfare and community development — an enduring testament to the unity and strength of the Chinoy community. He also conveyed his concern over the devastation caused by previous disasters and extended his hopes for a swift recovery for affected families and colleagues.
President Uy further outlined CFBCI’s key initiatives for the current term, embracing digital transformation, reinforcing partnerships with local chambers of commerce, promoting industrial integration, and supporting youth entrepreneurship. He also warmly invited all attendees to participate in the upcoming “14th Biennial National Convention,” scheduled for February 11–12, 2026, at the Manila Hotel.
The forum was co-hosted by CFBCI Chinese Secretary Ellen Chong and English Secretary Mex Bausa, who introduced the delegation members and presented the Chamber’s major business initiatives and social service programs. Tarlac Coordinator Steve Ong (Vice Chairman) and Angeles City Coordinator Alvin Tiu (Vice Chairman) also introduced their local colleagues and chamber leaders present at the forum.
The gathering featured substantive discussions on political and economic trends, opportunities, and challenges for the Chinoy community, and ongoing social welfare initiatives. Executive Vice President Gerald Uy Chan delivered the closing message, expressing his gratitude for the continuous support of his colleagues in Central Luzon, and providing a glimpse of future paths to be taken by CFBCI to strengthen collaboration between CFBCI members and local business leaders.
After the symposium, the delegation visited the Metro Central Outlet Mall operated by Vice Chairman Ong. With its modern facilities, comfortable environment, and wide selection of brands, the mall has become a key commercial landmark in the area. The delegation expressed admiration for its efficient management and operational model.
To further enrich their understanding of local culture and history, the delegation proceeded to the Aquino Center and Museum. Dedicated to the legacy of Ninoy Aquino, former President Corazon Aquino, and former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, the museum features extensive historical artifacts, audiovisual materials, and archival documents that chronicle the People Power Revolution and the Philippines’ democratic evolution. Through its multimedia exhibits and significant historical collections, the delegation gained a deeper appreciation of the country’s modern political history.
Following a productive and meaningful day of engagement, the delegation departed for Manila, marking the successful conclusion of their Tarlac visit.
菲華工商總會訊：本會第十四屆外埠巡迴訪問團於十一月十五日（星期六）上午抵達丹轆市，展開第四站巡訪行程。訪問團由理事長黃書瑋率領，一行十二人深入地方社區，了解當地產業發展現況，並成功與當地同仁及華商朋友舉辦座談會，充分展現本會深化與中呂宋地區華商交流合作的決心。
第四場外埠巡迴座談會於中午在丹轆市馥苑（香港）海鮮酒家隆重舉行。訪問團一抵達，即受到當地同仁和華商的熱情接待。
黃書瑋理事長在致詞中表示，能再次率團抵達丹轆市，與中呂宋地區華商及同仁面對面交流，感到十分榮幸。他肯定中呂宋地區擁有肥沃的土地、勤奮的人民與充滿活力的經濟環境，當地華商長期投入公益與地方建設，充分展現菲華社群的凝聚力與向心力，令人敬佩。黃理事長也對近日強颱「鳳凰」所造成的災情表達關懷，並祝願受影響的同仁及家庭早日恢復正常生活。
此外，他向與會者簡介本屆總會施政重點，包括推動中小企業數位轉型、強化與地方商會聯繫、促進產業整合、以及支持青年創業與人才培育等多元計畫。他也誠摯邀請大家出席將於二○二六年二月十一日至十二日假馬尼拉大酒店舉辦的「第十四次全國會員大會」，共襄盛舉。
座談會由本會中文秘書蔡艷霞與西文秘書梅西卡聯合主持，介紹訪問團成員並闡述總會推動的重點業務與社會服務計劃。本會丹轆市地區常務理事王榮躍及紅奚禮示市地區常務理事朱海庭介紹出席的當地同仁及各商會領導；座談會圍繞政經趨勢、華社發展的機遇與挑戰，以及地方公益布局等議題展開深入討論，與會者踴躍發言，分享觀點與實務經驗，現場氣氛熱烈。執行副理事長曾國強致謝詞。座談會不僅促進了華社交流，強化地方公益合作，也進一步加深了本會成員與當地華商之間的互動與共識。
座談會結束後，訪問團成員在本會中呂宋地區同仁陪同下，前往參觀了本會常務理事王榮躍經營的Metro Central Outlet商場。該商場設施完善、購物環境舒適、品牌豐富多元，是當地活力商業地標，訪問團對其高效管理與營運模式留下了深刻印象。
為深化對地方文化與歷史的了解，隨後，訪問團前往亞謹諾中心及博物館（Aquino Center and Museum）參觀。該館為紀念尼諾伊‧亞謹諾、前總統柯拉松‧亞謹諾及前總統貝尼尼奧「諾伊諾伊」‧亞謹諾三世而設，館內收藏大量歷史文物、影像及書面資料，完整呈現人民力量運動及菲律濱民主發展歷程。透過多媒體展區與珍貴史料，使訪問團成員對菲律濱近代政治歷史有了更深刻、立體的認識。
行程圓滿結束後，訪問團啟程返回馬尼拉，結束充實且富有意義的一日交流。
