On November 8, 2025, the 34 graduates of Batch 2025 of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) Pagharap sa Pangarap College Scholarship Program embarked on a special trip to Nasugbu, Batangas—an appreciation tour sponsored by CFBCI in recognition of their diligence and academic achievements. They were accompanied by CFBCI Director William Rogando, Education Committee Vice Chairman Linda Lao, Young Entrepreneurs’ Committee Vice Chairman Aileen Yang, and Plenary Member Jefferson Cheng.
The group arrived at Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa at ten o’clock in the morning for a day filled with relaxation and camaraderie. Transportation was generously provided by Cagsawa Travel and Tours, Inc. managed by Director Rogando. The graduates enjoyed swimming in the resort pool and the crystal-clear beach waters before participating in a lighthearted mini pageant that showcased their confidence, humor, and creativity — filling the shoreline with laughter and joy.
Following the activities, the group shared a sumptuous lunch sponsored by Director George Go, owner of the scenic resort. During the meal, pageant winners were announced and awarded cash prizes courtesy of Director Rogando and Vice Chairman Lao. Executive Vice President Gerald Uy Chan also joined the group for the occasion. Afterward, the graduates spent a leisurely afternoon at the resort before departing at three o’clock in the afternoon.
On their way to the next stop, they paused at Taal Vista Hotel to admire and photograph the stunning view of Taal Volcano. The breathtaking scenery left a lasting impression on the graduates, complemented by delicious pizza courtesy of Director Rogando, served at the hotel’s veranda overlooking the volcano.
By six o’clock in the evening, the group arrived at Royale Parc Hotels & Resorts, Inc. in Tagaytay City, owned by EVP Chan, where accommodations were graciously sponsored. Dinner followed at the hotel’s cozy function room, sponsored by President Samuel Lee Uy. The evening concluded with a relaxing visit to Yaletown Café, where the graduates enjoyed acoustic performances in a warm, convivial atmosphere.
The following morning, the graduates had a hearty breakfast at Yaletown Café generously sponsored by EVP Chan. Then, they continued to unwind, taking a refreshing dip in the hotel’s pool and jacuzzi. A delightful lunch sponsored by Vice President Paul Yeung capped off the trip, accompanied by cheerful games such as “Hep Hep Hooray!” that fostered laughter and fellowship. At 1:30 in the afternoon, the group departed Tagaytay and returned to Metro Manila, hearts full and spirits renewed.
This memorable getaway served not only as a reward for the scholars’ hard work but also as a symbol of CFBCI’s enduring commitment to nurture future leaders. Beyond academic support, the organization continues to create meaningful experiences that inspire, connect, and celebrate the aspirations of its scholars as they embark on the next chapter of their journey.
菲華工商總會訊：為嘉勉本屆「點亮未來」助學方案畢業生的優異表現與不懈努力，本會於二○二五年十一月八日至九日舉辦「感恩之旅」，讓受助生們在歡樂與感恩中，共同慶祝學業成果與人生新里程碑。
此次活動共有三十四位畢業生參與，同行者包括本會青年企業委員會主任杜祖蔭董事，文教委員會副主任留牡丹、理事委員張其安，青年企業委員會副主任楊佳玲，本會助學方案秘書處負責人羅娜及英文秘書梅西卡等人。交通大巴由杜祖蔭董事所經營的 Cagsawa Travel and Tours, Inc. 免費贊助。
上午十時，專車抵達風光明媚的Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa渡假村，該渡假村業主、亦是本會董事吳金帛慷慨贊助大家免費入場一日遊，並招待豐盛自助午餐。畢業生們在潔白沙灘上盡情享受海浪和陽光，參與趣味選美與才藝比賽，展現自信與創意，比賽得獎者由董事杜祖蔭與常務理事留牡丹贊助頒贈現金獎勵，場面熱烈歡愉，笑聲不絕，眾人渡過了一個難忘的上午時光。執行副理事長曾國強亦特別前往同樂，為受助生們送上祝賀與勉勵之詞。
下午，眾人前往著名觀光景點Taal Vista旅館，登高遠眺壯麗的塔阿爾火山美景，並在那裡享用下午茶。畢業生們紛紛拍照留念，沉浸於大自然的壯麗景色中。傍晚六時，一行人抵達位於大雅台市的Royale Parc Hotels & Resorts, Inc.渡假村，該度假村是本會執行副理事長曾國強所經營，並由其慷慨贊助住宿。晚宴則由理事長黃書瑋贊助，大家於雅緻溫馨的宴會廳共享佳餚美饌。晚餐後，眾人前往該渡假村的Yaletown Café，在輕柔的原聲音樂中共度悠閒時光，氣氛愉快融洽。
翌日清晨，畢業生們享用豐盛早餐之後又開啟新的一天，在渡假村泳池及按摩池中放鬆身心，戲水游樂。午餐則由副理事長楊良田贊助豐盛的自助餐，席間舉辦了充滿歡笑的「Hep Hep Hooray」等趣味遊戲，笑聲連連、情誼倍增。下午一時三十分，眾人滿載感恩與美好回憶返回馬尼拉，為本次活動畫下圓滿句點。
本屆「點亮未來」助學方案共有四十六位畢業生，其中有二位獲最高榮譽(Summa Cum Laude)，二十位獲得大優等榮譽(Magna Cum Laude)，十三位獲得優等榮譽(Cum Laude)，成績斐然。
此次感恩之旅，不僅是對學業成就的獎勵，更體現了菲華工商總會長期以來對教育培育的堅持與承諾。未來，本會將持續關懷「點亮未來」學員們的成長，為社會培養更多具備智慧、品格與領導力的新世代人才。
