On 14 October 2025, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) renewed its Memorandum of Agreement on Medical Benefits with the Philippine-Chinese Charitable Association, Inc. (PCCAI), the esteemed owner and operator of the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center (CGHMC).

This renewal reaffirms the longstanding partnership between CFBCI and Chinese Gen which is among the country’s largest and most fully equipped Chinese medical institutions. The signing ceremony was led by Samuel Lee Uy, President of CFBCI; Antonio Tan, Chairman of PCCAI; and Kelly Sia, President of Chinese Gen.

In his welcome message, Chairman Tan emphasized the Association’s longstanding commitment to medical philanthropy and social service. He highlighted its close cooperation with major Chinese community organizations, including the CFBCI, in promoting social progress and ethnic harmony. He commended CFBCI’s significant contributions to economic development, community service, and cultural promotion, expressing confidence that both organizations will continue working together to advance public welfare healthcare.

In his speech, President Uy noted that renewing the medical discount agreement not only strengthens CFBCI’s partnership with the two institutions but also ensures that members receive quality medical support and compassionate care, reflecting the core value of “taking from society and giving back to society.” He expressed CFBCI’s gratitude for the Association’s unwavering dedication to social welfare, affirming CFBCI’s commitment to collaborating across sectors to expand public service initiatives and extend care to more communities.

Over the past years, CFBCI and Chung Jen General Hospital co-organized blood donation drives and “Health Awareness Seminars for Middle-aged and Elderly Individuals,” drawing hundreds of local Chinese and Filipino participants. Last October, both parties collaborated on medical seminars covering cardiology, gastroenterology, and obstetrics/gynecology, aiming to further enhance public health awareness. CFBCI intends to continue working closely with the hospital on meaningful health and welfare programs.

The renewal of this medical discount agreement grants CFBCI members and their families’ exclusive access to medical benefits at the partner hospital. This initiative strengthens the organizations’ shared commitment to promoting social care and health welfare, offering tangible support to members while contributing to the broader community. Together, both parties continue to work toward a healthier, more harmonious, and hopeful future.

菲華工商總會訊：本會於二○二五年十月十四日（星期二）下午，與菲律濱華僑善舉總會、中華崇仁總醫院暨醫療中心，假馬尼拉市中華崇仁總醫院會議室，舉行簽署醫療優惠備忘錄，延續雙方長期以來的友好合作。本會領導同仁抵達中華崇仁總醫院會議室時，即受到菲律濱華僑善舉總會董事長盧祖蔭，執行副董事長兼醫院行政總理謝銘洲，名譽董事長兼執行委員會主席吳榮祥博士，以及副董事長許金礦、李賢潤，中華崇仁總醫院暨醫療中心院長洪鵬生醫學博士等領導的熱情接待，場面隆重而溫馨。

中華崇仁總醫院暨醫療中心為菲律濱華僑善舉總會所屬醫療機構，是本國規模最大、設施最完善的華人醫療中心之一。當天簽署儀式由本會理事長黃書瑋、菲律濱華僑善舉總會董事長盧祖蔭及中華崇仁總醫院執行副董事長兼行政總理謝銘洲代表雙方簽署，儀式由菲律濱華僑善舉總會中文訊息部林欣穎秘書長主持，本會中文秘書蔡艷霞介紹出席的領導同仁。
盧祖蔭董事長在致歡迎詞時表示，菲律濱華僑善舉總會長期致力推動醫療公益及社會服務，並與菲華工商總會等主要華社團體保持緊密合作，共同促進社會繁榮與族群和諧。他也高度肯定本會在促進經濟發展、服務社會及弘揚中華文化方面的貢獻，並期待雙方在公益醫療領域繼續攜手並進。

理事長黃書瑋則指出，此次續簽醫療優惠備忘錄，不僅深化了與菲律濱華僑善舉總會及中華崇仁總醫院的夥伴關係，更為本會會員提供優質醫療支援與貼心關懷，體現「取之於社會、用之於社會」的核心精神。他並感謝菲律濱華僑善舉總會長年對社會公益的無私奉獻，強調本會將持續與各界攜手推動公益項目，讓愛與健康遍及社會每個角落。過去一年，本會與中華崇仁總醫院舉辦捐血活動、合辦「中老年健康意識講座」，吸引上百位僑胞參與，收穫豐富。十月下旬，雙方將再度合作，舉辦心臟、胃腸及婦產科醫學講座，提升民眾健康管理意識。日後，本會將持續與貴院合作，舉辦更多有意義的公益與健康活動。
