On 09 November 2025, the Philippine Jinjiang Chidian General Association, Inc. joyfully celebrated its 2nd Founding Anniversary and held its Induction Ceremonies at the Century Seafood Restaurant, Manila. The event gathered local and overseas Chinese leaders and distinguished guests who came together to witness this significant milestone and the inauguration of the Association’s new headquarters.
Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) President Samuel Lee Uy was among the invited ribbon-cutting guests. Alongside leaders of various organizations, he unveiled the commemorative plaque at the entrance of the new headquarters, extending his heartfelt congratulations on the inauguration of the new premises.
That afternoon, the Association also held a grand celebration for its second anniversary and the induction of the second-term board of directors, as well as officers from the Women’s Group and Youth Group. Guests from China, Hong Kong, and Macau attended the occasion, signifying the unity and enduring friendship among the Chidian community at home and abroad. CFBCI President Uy was seated at the Presidential table and delivered an inspiring congratulatory message.
In his speech, President Uy highlighted that the event not only marked an important milestone for the Association but also reflected the enduring spirit of solidarity and shared purpose among its members. On behalf of CFBCI, he extended warm congratulations to the Association, commending its unwavering commitment to the principles of “fostering hometown ties, pursuing shared development, and serving society.”
He emphasized that since its establishment, the Association has successfully united the vast community of Chidian compatriots in the Philippines, strengthening hometown bonds, encouraging mutual support, and contributing to both business development and social welfare. It has also served as a bridge for friendship and cooperation between China and the Philippines.
President Uy further commended the Board of Directors and members for their dedication and hard work. He particularly recognized Founding President Mr. Alvin Chu, who also serves as CFBCI’s Coordinator for Angeles, Pampanga. As a pioneering figure, Mr. Chu led the acquisition of the Association’s headquarters, contributing both resources and effort. His leadership inspired many fellow townsmen to join the cause and laid a solid foundation for the Association’s continued success.
Warm congratulations were also extended to the newly elected officers: President Mr. Henry Lo Lim (also CFBCI Vice President), Executive Vice President Mr. George Go, and Vice President Mr. Zhu Xiaohua (both CFBCI Directors). Their assumption of leadership marks a new era of growth and promise, as they are expected to uphold the Association’s legacy and guide it toward even greater achievements.
Adding to the festive spirit, CFBCI Scholars, under the direction of acclaimed Chinese music teacher Ms. Aileen Go, performed two heartwarming Chinese songs. Their melodious voices filled the venue with warmth and nostalgia. This was followed by a moving solo rendition of “Peng You” by CFBCI Scholar Alfred Baja from Batangas, whose heartfelt performance captured the gratitude and aspirations of the youth.
The event concluded with a touching message of appreciation from Executive Vice President George Go, followed by a toast among all guests. The joyous and harmonious atmosphere symbolized the Association’s bright future under its new leadership.
CFBCI Vice President Henry Lo Lim was formally inducted as the second President of the Philippine Jinjiang Chidian General Association, Inc. A respected entrepreneur who successfully led W. L. Foods to international recognition, Mr. Lim is equally known for his philanthropic endeavors in education. During the ceremony, he generously donated ₱200,000 to the CFBCI Pagharap sa Pangarap College Scholarship Program, opening new opportunities for underprivileged students to pursue higher education. His generosity and compassion exemplify the true spirit of leadership and service, earning our highest commendation and gratitude.
菲華工商總會訊:菲律濱晉江市池店鎮聯鄉總會暨總商會於二○二五年十一月八日(星期六)上午十時,假馬尼拉東盛商業大廈舉行新會所落成啟用剪綵儀式。誠邀菲華僑領及嘉賓蒞臨共襄盛舉,見證總會邁入嶄新里程。本會理事長黃書瑋應邀出席擔任剪綵嘉賓之一,並與多位僑界代表共同為新會所大門名碑誌揭牌,祝賀池店鎮聯鄉總會暨總商會新會所落成啟用。
十一月九日(星期日)中午,菲律濱晉江市池店鎮聯鄉總會暨總商會假世紀海鮮酒家隆重舉辦成立兩週年慶典暨第二屆理監事會洎婦女組、青年組職員就職典禮。來自中國、香港及澳門的嘉賓齊聚一堂,共襄盛舉。本會理事長黃書瑋應邀就座主賓席並發表致詞,對典禮的圓滿成功表示祝賀。
黃書瑋理事長在致詞中提到,這不僅是貴會的重要里程碑,更是鄉情凝聚、使命延續的見證時刻。並代表菲華工商總會全體同仁,向該會致以最熱烈的祝賀!黃理事長提到,該會自創立以來,始終秉承「聯絡鄉誼、共謀發展、服務社會」的宗旨,團結廣大在菲池店鄉親,敦睦鄉誼,守望相助。在促進旅菲鄉親事業發展、增進中菲兩國友好交往、支持家鄉經濟建設與社會公益事業等方面,作出了卓越貢獻。並表示,過去兩年的斐然成就,離不開首屆理監事會及全體會員的無私奉獻與辛勤耕耘。大會主席朱海庭先生,不僅是本會Angeles地區常務理事,更是池店聯鄉總會的開路先鋒。
任內倡議購置會所,捐資出力,感召眾多鄉親響應,為該會奠下穩固根基,功不可沒。
同時,熱烈祝賀新任會長林天德先生(亦是本會副理事長),執行副會長吳金帛先生,和副會長朱少華先生(本會兩位董事),眾望所歸,榮任要職,無疑為池店總會注入一股堅強穩健的力量,令人滿懷期待!今天新屆履新,俊彥共聚,定能繼往開來,再創輝煌。
本會「點亮未來」助學方案受助生合唱團,在華社著名音樂老師吳心慈女士的精心指導下,深情演繹《傳奇》與《如願》兩首中文歌曲,悠揚歌聲如溫暖旋律,蕩漾在會場每個角落,打動在場每位嘉賓的心。隨後,Batangas受助生Alfred Bata以真摯動人的嗓音獨唱《朋友》,細膩流露青年對師長、家鄉及夢想的感恩與熱忱,將典禮氣氛推向最溫馨感人的高潮。
慶典在該會執行副會長吳金帛誠摯致謝詞後圓滿落幕。全體與會嘉賓隨之舉杯祝賀,場面洋溢喜悅與溫情,也象徵池店總會在新一屆理監事的帶領下,邁向更加輝煌的未來。
