On 19 October 2025, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) attended the 90th Anniversary Celebration of the Filipino-Chinese Wei Due Fraternity, Inc. at the Grand Hall of its headquarters. The milestone event was graced by delegations from various provincial chapters and distinguished members of the overseas Chinese community who gathered to join in the festivities.

CFBCI President Samuel Lee Uy was invited as a special guest, signifying the Club’s deep respect and enduring support for Chinese community organizations. His presence highlighted the longstanding ties between CFBCI and family associations within the Filipino-Chinese community.

In his address, President Uy extended heartfelt congratulations on the association’s historic 90th anniversary. He praised the organization for steadfastly upholding its founding principles — “Uniting the Five Clans, Promoting Ancestral Virtues, Fostering Clan Harmony, and Forging Shared Glory” — over the past nine decades. By bringing together the Yao, Yu, Chen, Hu, and Tian clans, the fraternity has actively advanced public welfare, cultural promotion, and Chinese language education, contributing significantly to the vitality and unity of the Filipino-Chinese community.

President Uy further remarked that in a multicultural society, family associations not only preserve ancestral virtues but also embody the solidarity and continuity of the Chinese-Filipino community. He lauded the association’s balanced approach to tradition and innovation, which has yielded meaningful contributions to clan harmony and social development. He also acknowledged CFBCI Vice President Antonio Tan, who currently serves as President of the fraternity’s Bicol Chapter, and CFBCI Tarlac Member Richard Yao, a key contributor to the association’s Education Committee.

In conclusion, President Uy conveyed CFBCI’s best wishes for the Filipino-Chinese Wei Due Fraternity, Inc., expressing hopes for its continued prosperity, expanding membership, and enduring legacy. He also reaffirmed CFBCI’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with clan associations to promote Chinese-Filipino friendship and shared progress.

As the celebration drew to a close, Executive Vice President Yao Jiale delivered the closing remarks on behalf of the fraternity, expressing sincere gratitude to all guests and supporters. He extended special thanks to the associations and individuals who have long contributed to the organization’s growth and success.

The event concluded with lively cultural performances by the Youth and Women’s Groups, followed by a raffle draw. The Grand Hall resonated with applause and cheerful laughter, marking a joyous and memorable conclusion to the fraternity’s remarkable 90th anniversary celebration.

菲華工商總會訊：菲華媯汭五姓聯宗總會於二○二五年十月十九日（星期日）上午，假會所隆重舉行成立九十週年慶典，各外省分會慶賀團、僑界賢達紛紛踴躍出席，共襄盛舉。本會理事長黃書瑋應邀出席慶典，展現對華社宗親團體的高度重視與長久支持，也彰顯本會與宗親社團間深厚的情誼，向菲華媯汭五姓聯宗總會致上誠摯祝賀與崇高敬意。

慶典由主席胡爾明，亦是本會故榮譽理事長胡炳南先生令三郎，擔任大會主席，主講人陳祖昌，專題主講人陳著遠演誨。副主席陳長波介紹主賓席貴賓，並由陳長寅、姚慶生、陳靜妤擔任司儀。多位僑界領袖蒞臨致詞，場面熱烈，氣氛莊重。

理事長黃書瑋在致詞中，首先熱烈祝賀菲華媯汭五姓聯宗總會這一歷史性的九十週年慶典。他高度肯定該會九十年來秉持「五姓聯宗，弘揚祖德，敦宗睦族，共鑄輝煌」的宗旨，團結姚、虞、陳、胡、田五姓宗親，積極參與公益、文化及華文教育，為菲華社會注入正能量，成效卓著、令人敬佩。

黃理事長並指出，在多元社會中，宗親會既延續祖德，也象徵華人凝聚力。貴會兼顧傳統與創新，對促進宗族和諧與社區發展貢獻卓著，意義深遠。

最後，黃理事長代表本會，祝願菲華媯汭五姓聯宗總會會務昌隆，宗親興旺，代代傳承，共創輝煌。他也表達未來將持續與宗親團體深化合作，攜手促進菲中友誼與菲華社會共同繁榮的願景。

慶典尾聲，由執行副主席姚嘉樂代表主辦單位致謝詞，感謝各界嘉賓蒞臨祝賀與鼎力支持，並向長年關心與支持宗親會發展的友會與人士致以誠摯謝意。隨後，由青年組、婦女組輪番登場，獻上精彩文藝表演，並進行摸彩活動。整場慶典，氣氛熱烈，掌聲不斷，為九十週年慶典劃下圓滿而熱鬧的句點。
