To foster cultural exchange and trade collaboration between young entrepreneurs in the Philippines and Vietnam, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) Young Entrepreneurs’ Committee (YEC) successfully organized the “Vietnam Business Trip 2025” from March 29 to April 4, 2025, with a 20-member delegation led by Vice President Jocelyn Johanna See (Committee Adviser) and Director William Rogando (Committee Chairman).

One of the main objectives of the study tour was to participate in the Vietnam Expo 2025 held at the Hanoi International Exhibition Center and to gain a deeper understanding of the business development opportunities in the region. In addition to the exhibition, the delegation also visited a number of industrial zones and enterprises with development potentials for business study. The delegation visited Amber An Quang Industrial Park in Hoa Binh Province and Bao Minh Bakery & Confectionery Joint Stock Company, a famous food manufacturer in Vietnam, to gain a more intuitive understanding of the industrial development and business operation in the region.

In order to gain a deeper understanding of the local customs, the delegation also carried out cultural exchange activities and visited the historic Temple of Literature in Hanoi. The Temple of Literature, built in 170 AD, is one of the most historically significant cultural monuments in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, initially built in memory of Confucius and his disciples, and then became Vietnam’s first State Scholarship School, specializing in training the children of nobility and scholars; its architectural design is a blend of traditional Chinese style, with five courtyards and many historical subjects and discipline.

The delegation also visited the St. Joseph’s Cathedral which is the oldest church in Hanoi. After two fierce wars, the church still stands peacefully in this bustling city, witnessing the stormy times of Hanoi. In addition, they visited Thien Giang Cave, one of Vietnam’s natural wonders. Located in Halong Bay, Thien Giang Cave is one of the region’s most famous caves, with stalactites, pillars, and strangely shaped rock formations thought to be the result of thousands of years of erosion by water, and the cave’s fairytale-like scenery attracts a large number of tourists.

The group also took a wooden raft (Sampan) to experience the local people’s “leg rowing” along the Ngo Dong River in Ninh Binh Province, enjoying the beautiful scenery of hills, caves, rice paddies, and surrounding villages on both sides of the river. The group was able to experience the traditional way of life of the local people in this charming natural water.

In addition to the business trip and cultural experience, the group also tasted the famous Vietnamese food and fresh seafood to fully experience the local cuisine. Vietnam’s Pho, with its light and layered flavors, fresh herbs and meat, is very popular; Bánh mì, a fusion of French and Vietnamese flavors, has become a classic representative of street snacks with its crispy bread and various fillings; and Vietnam’s Egg Coffee, etc., which were not only enjoyable for the group, but also allowed them to understand more about the characteristics of Vietnam’s culinary culture.

菲華工商總會訊：本會青年企業委員會，於二零二五年三月廿九日至四月四日成功組織「二零二五年越南商務考察團」，由副理事長施茵茵擔任團長，董事杜祖蔭擔任副團長，一行廿二人圓滿完成了為期七天的考察行程。

此次考察的主要目的之一是參與位於河內國際展覽中心所舉行的「二零二五年越南國際貿易博覽會（Vietnam Expo 2025）」，並深入了解當地的商業發展機遇。在參訪展會的同時，考察團也實地走訪了多個具有發展潛力的工業區及企業，進行商業考察；團員們參觀了位於和平省的Amber安光工業園區及越南知名的食品製造企業Bao Minh糕餅糖果股份公司，對當地的工業發展及企業運營情況有了更直觀的了解。

為深入了解當地的風土民情，考察團也進行了文化交流活動，參觀河內歷史名勝文廟；文廟建於公元一零七零年，是越南首都河內最具歷史意義的文化古蹟之一，最初為紀念孔子及其門生而建，後來成為越南的第一所國子監，專門培養貴族子弟與學者；其建築設計融合了中國傳統風格，擁有五進院落及眾多歷代科舉進士名錄碑，是越南古代教育制度的重要象徵。聖若瑟大教堂（St. Joseph’s Cathedral）是河內最古老的教堂。經歷了兩次激烈的戰爭，教堂依然安祥地屹立在這座繁華的城市中，見證了河內的風風雨雨。此外，探訪了越南的自然奇景天宮洞；天宮洞位於哈龍灣，是該地區最著名的洞穴之一，洞內的鐘乳石、石柱及形狀奇特的石景，被認為是數千年水流侵蝕的結果，洞內的景色如同仙境般美麗，吸引了大量遊客來此觀賞。也搭乘了木筏船（Sampan）體驗當地人「用腿划船」沿著寧平省的Ngo Dong River 蜿蜒，欣賞兩岸的山丘、洞穴、稻田以及周圍村莊的美麗景色。團員們在這片充滿自然魅力的水域中，感受了當地傳統的生活方式。

除了商務考察與文化體驗，團員們也品嘗了越南的著名美食和新鮮海鮮，充分感受當地的飲食文化。越南的河粉（Pho）以其清淡而富有層次的味道，搭配新鮮的草藥和肉類，深受大家喜愛；越式法包（Bánh mì）則融合了法國與越南的風味，酥脆的麵包搭配多樣的內餡，成為街頭小吃的經典代表；還有越南雞蛋咖啡等，這些美食佳飲不僅讓團員們大快朵頤，也讓團員更加了解越南的飲食文化特色。

此次考察行程讓團員們不僅增進了對越南市場的了解，也促進了兩地之間的商業交流與合作，對未來的貿易與投資機會奠定了堅實的基礎。
