On 25 September 2024, after meeting the school officials of Dela Paz Elementary School and Talahib Pandayan Elementary School for the donation turnover of galvanized iron (GI) sheets for the repair of the roofs of classrooms, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) continued their journey in Batangas City to visit the newly-renovated classrooms at Batangas Kipsi Memorial School.

Way back 30 June 2024, CFBCI attended the 2024-2026 Induction of Officers Ceremony of the Batangas Kipsi Memoral School and showed its support to the ongoing renovation of the school with a construction grant worth PHP 500,000. Using this fund, the school was able to refurnish their classrooms to foster a more conducive learning environment for the pupils. For the first time, on 25 September 2024, CFBCI was able to visit the newly-renovated classrooms that will cater to the educational needs of kindergarten students.

Upon arrival at the school, CFBCI received a warm welcome from the school’s administration led by Mr. Jack R. Co, President of the Board of Trustees and Vice Chairman of CFBCI, and Dr. Rosa Adelaida Chan Ecalnir, School Principal. The administrative staff and hardworking teachers of the school also welcomed the organization. Mr. Yan Feng Jun and Mr. Song Jia Hong who came from China were also enthusiastic in conversing with the delegation and sharing their experiences in teaching the pupils of Batangas Kipsi Memoral School. A vibrant conversation took place and CFBCI enjoyed the sweet local delicacies served to them.

Afterwards, the group headed to the newly-renovated classrooms and marveled at the impressive construction work done. Dr. Ecalnir expressed the deepest gratitude of the school for its generous donors and the hard work of its trustees. According to her, several parts of the school have been changed through the years, but this was the first time that its facilities took a major renovation. Today, the kindergarten rooms are fully furnished, the school conference room, clinic, and canteen are also excellently renovated with new lights and furniture. The construction of the school gym is also ongoing and is expected to be completed before the year ends.

Since its establishment in 1946, the Batangas Kipsi Memorial School which is a private, non-sectarian school, has been firm in championing its mantra: “Letting Your Child Unfold the Education They Deserve.” Being the sole institution in the Province of Batangas providing standardized Chinese courses, Batangas Kipsi Memorial School Inc. offers students the opportunity to learn Mandarin and Fookien at the Elementary level to prepare them for future studies. On behalf of CFBCI, President Samuel Lee Uy commended the dedication and generosity of the people behind these milestones, emphasizing that it is an honor to CFBCI to contribute to this initiative that aims to offer better educational facilities and services to the youth of Batangas, while promoting the Chinese language and heritage.

菲華工商總會訊：本會於今年六月卅日出席參加描東岸菲華商會、及時紀念學校董事會和描東岸菲華志願消防隊等當地華社三大團體的就職慶典時，捐獻菲幣五十萬予描東岸及時紀念學校，贊助該校教室翻新工程，以支援當地華文教育 。

今年開學後，本會於九月廿五日上午驅車前往描東岸省羅沙溜市（Rosario, Batangas）的阿露百公立小學（Alupay Elementary School）移交本會捐贈的體育設備，藉以豐富鄉村學子們的課餘生活，受到該校校長Marissa D. De Ocampo及五百餘位師生的熱烈歡迎。同一天下午向Dela Paz公立小學校長Elizabeth Arellano及Talahib Pandayan公立小學校長Marilyn Dela Rosa移交鋅板等建築材料，幫忙兩所公立小學修繕被颱風摧毀的屋頂，緊接著馬不停蹄地前往描東岸及時紀念學校視察全面翻新竣工的教室。

當天參加活動的本會領導同仁有：理事長黃書瑋，副理事長施茵茵，董事黃志安，常務理事柯吉平、楊榮輝、黃愛儀，理事姚寶珍及西文秘書梅西卡，受到描東岸及時紀念學校董事會董事長、亦為本會董事許建陽，副董事長蔡衍園，校長曾秀華(Rosa Adelaida Chan Ecalnir)博士及華語文教師嚴俸俊、宋家洪等人的熱烈歡迎，並在會議室進行友好交流。

嚴俸俊老師及宋家洪老師向本會領導同仁介紹描東岸市當地華語文教育的現況及工作心得，使大家對及時紀念學校有了更進一步的認識。

校長曾秀華博士感謝本會慷慨贊助該校教室翻新工程，為學生們營造一個更有利的學習環境。並表示，該校幼兒園的教室及設施已齊全，會議室、醫務室、食堂也已經重新裝修過畢，並已安裝了新燈飾，目前僅剩學校體育館還在整修中，預計年底前能夠全部竣工。

理事長黃書瑋則表示，本會很榮幸能夠為及時紀念學校盡一份心力，並讚揚該校董事長許建陽及董事會成員宣揚中華文化的決心。他也補充說，教育是社會進步與發展的原動力，任何社會的進步與發展，都需要藉助教育的力量，並指出，打造優質教育，乃是確保未來美好社會的基石。

隨後，董事長許建陽及校長曾秀華博士等人陪同本會領導同仁參觀該校翻新過的教室及設施，並且一一介紹這些教室及設施的未來規劃等。活動在本會領導同仁參觀完及時紀念學校後，圓滿結束。

描東岸市及時紀念學校創立於一九四六年，是目前華社唯一以抗日烈士命名的學校，藉以致敬蔡及時英雄烈士「為國獻身、永垂不朽」的精神，該校近八十年歷史，培育英才無數。
