On 10 October 2024, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) attended the opening ceremony of the 30th PackPrintPlas Philippines and the Philippine Lifestyle Sourcing Expo 2024 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City. CFBCI was represented by President Samuel Lee Uy, Honorary Vice President Johnny Lee and son Kevin Lee, and Vice Chairman Mylene Co. The organization is honored to become an official partner of these events which emphasize the strong economic relationship between the Philippines and China while advancing the trade and industry sectors by fostering growth and encouraging collaboration.
To officially open these long-awaited events which will be held from October 10 to 12, 2024, the opening ceremony successfully began at 8:00 a.m. where morning refreshments were served and guests were given the opportunity to get to know each other. At 9:00 a.m., industry leaders were invited for the photo-op on stage, thereby conducting the ribbon cutting ceremony. On behalf of CFBCI, President Samuel Lee Uy happily joined the said ceremony graced by the attendance of Mr. Peter Eric Pardo, Chief of Staff of the Office of the Pasay City Mayor, and various industry leaders including Mr. Chen Danfeng, Chairman of the Huiyuan Cultural Development Co., Ltd.
On one hand, “Pack Print Plas Philippines 2024” is an expo that showcases cutting-edge technologies in packaging, printing, and plastics solutions industries. This expo was co-organized by Messe Dusseldorf Asia, a subsidiary of Messe Dusseldorf GmbH, one of the most excellent exhibition organizers in the world. On the other hand, “Philippine Lifestyle Sourcing Expo 2024” is a premier event that aims to bring together a wide range of products including apparel, textile, footwear, electronics, home decor, baby and mother products, e-commerce services and more. It was organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles and Huiyuan Cultural Development Co., Ltd. These two expos are considered as a great platform through which people can discover new products, explore business ventures, and build long-term relationships with both local and international suppliers and buyers alike.
After the ribbon cutting ceremony, CFBCI officers toured the exhibits and were delighted to see various products from within the country and abroad. Among the hundreds of exhibitors was the “Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines” which showcased stunning designs that blend tradition and innovation. Over 20,000 registered trade buyers are expected to visit these exhibits in three days.
As a business organization, CFBCI strongly support events of this kind that aim to promote our local brands crafted by our very own kababayans. “Definitely, the Philippines could offer garment, textile, footwear, home and lifestyle, and electronic products to the world, boasting excellent aesthetics, durability, and reliability. Therefore, we continue must supporting our local brands as they enter the global scene and attract partnerships with international suppliers and manufacturers,” President Samuel Lee Uy said. The opening ceremony was officially sealed off with a luncheon at 12:00 n.n.
菲華工商總會訊：《第卅屆菲律濱塑膠及印刷包裝展覽會》(30th PackPrintPlas Philippines)及《二零二四年菲律濱時尚生活採購展》（Philippine Lifestyle Sourcing Expo 2024），於十月十日（星期四）上午，假座巴西市馬尼拉SMX會議中心隆重舉行開幕儀式，貿工部副部長 Blesila Lantayona、帕賽市市長辦公室主任 Eric Pardo、菲律濱體育委員會委員Matthew " Fritz" Gaston、Messe Düsseldorf展覽公司亞洲區總經理Gernot Ringling、中國紡織品進出口商會張新民會長、本會理事長黃書瑋及中菲商界嘉賓出席展會擔任剪綵嘉賓，場面盛大。
《第卅屆菲律濱塑膠及印刷包裝展覽會》是由Messe Düsseldorf 展覽公司亞洲區及 Global-link MP展覽公司所主辦；《二零二四年菲律濱時尚生活採購》展則是由中國紡織品進出口商會及福建薈源國際展覽有限公司共同主辦。展覽會從十月十日至十二日已圓滿結束。展會現場特別設立了商貿配對交流會，為參展商與潛在買家提供了深入交流的機會，與會者可以直接與不同類別的供應商進行面對面的討論，促進商業合作。
本屆菲律濱塑膠及印刷包裝展覽會展品範圍廣泛，涵蓋了該行業的所有主要領域，從塑膠印刷和包裝解決方案、材料到綜合印刷物流服務，並透過為製造商和出口商提供最先進的出口生產解決方案，為企業和行業專業人士提供了有價值的見解、趨勢和創新。該展覽會已成為與塑膠和包裝加工產業關係日益密切的商業平台。展會重點展示了兩百五十多個品牌，吸引了一萬多人前往參觀。超過 35% 的參展商在展會期間成功達成了交易。
今年的菲律濱時尚生活採購展位於馬尼拉SMX會展中心二號多功能廳，開幕儀式當天，菲律濱時裝設計師協會所主辦的Ｔ臺時裝秀成為一大亮點，模特兒展示了精緻的新娘禮服、優雅的菲律濱服飾、燕尾服、迷人的名媛禮服以及本國最具標誌性的巴隆（Barong Tagalog），每一件作品都反映了現代菲律濱時尚的藝術性和創新性，讓與會者跟著瞭解時尚最新趨勢。本次展覽會匯集了來自菲律濱和中國的眾多知名品牌，從時尚潮流和獨特鞋類到最新電子產品和嬰兒用品，展示了菲律濱生活方式行業的精華。本會常務理事侯逸蘭所屬公司Metro Shirt Inc.亦參加了展出。當天的時尚生活採購展場有超過五千種各生活方式領域最新、最具創意的產品，處處展現驚喜，讓參觀者目不暇給。
主辦單位陪同剪綵貴賓及商會代表參觀展覽會各攤位，本會理事長黃書瑋讚揚參展的菲律濱品牌產品均具有美觀、耐用及創新特色，勉勵大家要支持國人，購買國貨。其他出席活動的本會領導同仁有：名譽副理事長李少平，常務理事侯逸蘭、洪海濱及會員許偉城等人。
