On the occasion of the September Chinese Media Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) is pleased to present a gift of mooncakes and ampaos to Chinese newspapers, television stations, magazines, and online media professionals to to thank them for their contributions and support to the initiatives of CFBCI over the past years.

In the morning of September 12, Mr. Paul Yeung, Vice President of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Gilbert Kua Yan Yee, Director of the Board of Directors, on behalf of CFBCI, presented moon cakes and ampaos to CHiNOY TV and Kaisa Para sa Kaunlaran (KAISA) at the CFBCI Main Office, and then went to the local offices of World News, United News, Chinese Journal Today Publication, Inc., where they presented gifts to the hard working personnel. In the afternoon of the same day, Ms. Ellen Chong, our Chinese Secretary, presented moon cakes and ampao to Mr. Wong Hok Ming, President of the Chinese Press Club on behalf of CFBCI’s leadership.

In the afternoon of September 13, our Honorary President, Mr. Stephen Tan Sia and our Corporate Secretary, Mr. Henry S. Go, on behalf of CFBCI, presented the Mid-Autumn Mooncakes and ampao to media organizations such as Chinatown TV, Chinese Commercial News, Philippine Chinese Daily News, and Feilongwang to express CFBCI’s greetings for the festive season.

At present, there are five Chinese newspapers, two Chinese TV stations, and several Chinese magazines and online media in the Philippines. Every year, CFBCI celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival in conjunction with the Chinese Media Day to show its appreciation to the journalists.

菲華工商總會訊：本會領導同仁一向關心華文新聞從業員，於九月份記者節暨中秋佳節來臨之際，特贈送精美可口的中秋月餅及紅包禮金予本國華文報刊、電視臺、雜誌社以及網路媒體從業人員，以表達本會全體同仁對媒體工作人員的崇高敬意和衷心祝福，同時感謝華文媒體一直以來對菲華社會所做出的貢獻，以及多年來對本會的各項工作所給予的支持和鼓勵，和做出的詳實報導。

九月十二日上午，本會副理事長楊良田及董事柯仁義代表本會，向親臨本會會所的菲華電視臺台長姚麗英女士及菲律濱華裔青年聯合會董事洪澤智贈送月餅及禮金，接著前往世界日報、聯合日報及菲華日報，向各大華報負責人或代表贈給禮品並致意；同日下午，本會中文秘書蔡艷霞則代表本會領導同仁將月餅和禮金贈予華文記者會黃學鳴會長。

九月十三日下午，本會名譽理事長謝國萬及立案秘書吳恆利代表本會向菲中電視臺、菲龍網、商報及菲律濱華報等媒體單位贈送中秋月餅及禮金，表達本會領導同仁對華文媒體工作人員的敬意，並致以節日的問候。

菲律濱目前有五家華文報館、二家華人電視臺以及數家華人雜誌社、網路媒體；每逢中秋佳節，本會均會結合記者節雙節同慶，慰勞新聞從業員並聊表心意。
