Chief Reporter and Intern Reporter of China News Service (CNS), Director of Philippine China Television (PCTV), and ssociate Producer and News Director of PCTV, visited the Association on Wednesday afternoon, January 18, 2023, and were warmly welcomed and received by the Association's leaders.

During the meeting, President Stephen Sia, on behalf of all the members of the Association, welcomed the guests and congratulated on their arrival in the Philippines. Mr. Sia introduced that the association has been established for 25 years. As the main Chinese organization in the Philippines, the Association has been upholding its founding purpose for a long time, making due contributions to the friendship between the two countries and peoples, the integration of the Chinese and Filipino communities, and the development of the Filipino-Chinese culture and trade in various aspects. The China News Service, which is affiliated with the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, is the first Chinese news agency to have a branch office in the Philippines, with overseas Chinese as its main target.

Our Secretary introduced our leaders to the audience and showed a video to introduce our history and the social service programs that we are implementing. Mr. Sia introduced to the leaders of the Society, as the news agency of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, the Society will report more news of the overseas Chinese community and reflect the actual situation of the Chinese community, and expressed the hope to cooperate with the Society in many aspects when the opportunity arises.

After watching the introduction video, Mr. Zhangthe guests were very interested in our “Pagharap sa Pangarap" scholarship program and suggested to us to cooperate and promote the exchange of students between the Philippines and China. Honorary President Allan Wong But Loy introduced the implementation of the “Pagharap sa Pag-asa" program in detail to the guests. Other leaders also spoke enthusiastically and the interaction between the two sides was good. Finally, the leaders presented a commemorative plaque, a special edition of our 20th anniversary, to the Philippine News Agency. The Agency also presented a commemorative plaque to the Association.

菲華工商總會訊：中新社菲分社首席記者張興龍先生、實習記者牛恒佳小姐，菲中電視台台長施玉娥女士，副製作人兼新聞總監王學藝，於二零二三年元月十八日（星期三）下午禮訪本會，受到本會領導：理事長謝國萬，榮譽理事長黃拔來，執行副理事長黃書瑋，名譽副理事長李少平，副理事長曾國強、楊良田、林天德熱烈的歡迎與接待，雙方進行了親切座談。

座談會期間，理事長謝國萬代表本會全體同仁，向張興龍社長和施玉娥一行表示歡迎，並祝賀張社長來菲履新。理事長謝國萬介紹本會創立至今已有廿五年。作為菲律濱主要的華人團體，本會長期以來一直秉持著創會宗旨，為中菲兩國和人民之間的友誼，華菲兩族的融合，和菲中文化經貿各方面的發展，做出應有的貢獻。隸屬於國僑辦的中新社，以海外華僑華人為主要服務對象，也是最早在菲律濱設有分社的中國新聞機構。對菲國和華社重大事件都有很詳實的報導，本會慶祝華文記者節，貴社張明和關向東兩位社長都曾出席參加，與本會多有互動。希望今後能和張社長多聯繫增加交流。菲中電視台在施玉娥台長的領導下，這幾年做得十分出色，在菲華社會有很大的影響力，而且和祖國多個省份的電視台有深度合作，節目品質可圈可點。很感謝貴台對本會的社會服務方案都有詳細報導，希望貴我以後能有更多的合作機會。祝願中新社和菲中電視台在兔年能取得更好的成績。

本會秘書蔡艷霞向來賓介紹本會出席的領導，並播放視頻向來賓簡介了本會的歷史和正在執行的各項社會服務方案。

張興龍社長向本會領導介紹了中新社的概況，作為僑辦轄下新聞社將會更多報導海外華僑華人的消息，反映華社當下的各種實際情況，並表示有機會希望能和本會多方面合作。在看完了本會簡介視頻，張社長對本會「點亮未來」助學方案很感興趣，向本會建議雙方合作，促進菲中之間學生的交流。榮譽理事長黃拔來向來賓們詳細介紹了「點亮未來」助學方案的執行情況。施玉娥台長介紹了菲中台的近況，感謝本會對菲中台長期的支持。其他領導亦踴躍發言，雙方互動良好。最後本會領導向中新社菲分社贈送了紀念盾和本會二十週年紀念特刊。菲中電視台亦贈送紀念盾給本會留念。
